LSSU Goalie Aldridge Returns to Junior

Lake Superior State freshman goaltender Kevin Aldridge has decided to leave the team to return to junior, the team said today.

This does not come as a surprise.  Aldridge was not a recruit of the current coaching regime, and in limited action did not have a great degree of success going 0-2 in four games for the Lakers this season, with a 4.80 goals against average and .833 save percentage.

Aldridge is said to have plans to play again for Fairbanks of the NAHL, the team with which he won a championship last season and was named playoff MVP.
