Manitoba Junior League Hockey Player Paralyzed After On Ice Accident

Braden Pettinger was playing his first game for the Portage Terriers in the Manitoba Junior League after being acquired from Waywayseecappo.  A big defenseman known for playing physical and protecting the house first.

In what many are saying was a freak accident, Braden Pettinger crashed head first into the end boards a few days ago and was removed from the ice by medical personnel.

After undergoing a lengthy surgery it is unknown whether or not he will recover from his injuries.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise money for Pettinger and his family.
