Max Glashauser is preparing for the 3 day drive to Cochrane!!!

We have a huge announcement for you guys today.  This is the press release I have been waiting the longest to do.
Hailing from Flower-Mound Texas Max Glashauser is making his way back to play another season for YOUR Cochrane Crunch (formerly the Elliot Lake Bobcats).  He weighs in at 185 lbs and measure 5’11”.  Max was born February 20th 1994.  Oh and he will be very easy to spot on the ice he will be the one with the “C” his jersey.
Max was a dominant force on the ice.  He is an Offensive Defenceman scoring 29 pts during the regular season and adding another 5 pts in the playoffs against those Peski Eskis!
Just don’t ask him to help you move a piano! ;-)
Max and I took a few minutes to talk last night and here is what he had to say:
“I am very excited to play in Cochrane this season.  I really enjoyed playing in Cochrane last season.  It was the biggest home crowd of the year for us.  The Arena was just electric that night and the fans were behind us 100% even if we didn’t win.  Cochrane is a Hockey Crazy Town and that is going to make for an amazing season.
We are so lucky to call the Tim Horton Event Centre our home.  This facility is just amazing.  Having the gym, pool, spin room and rink all under one roof is amazing.  It’s going to be great and cut down on travelling time.
I also look forward to playing another season for Coach Lenny (Ryan Leonard).  It feels nice coming back and working with a Coach that already knows what I can bring to the table.  I look forward to meeting the 2 Assistant Coaches Adam Moloci and Brian Hofferd.  Oh and I can’t wait to see Greg Sidock the “Stats Man” to the stars.  I truly believe that with the Players and Coaching Staff that we have we are sure to make a run at the League Championship.”
Max is a very level headed young man with ambitious goals for this season.  He plans to DOUBLE his point production from last years tally.  He also would like to lead this team to the Dudley-Hewitt Cup.  He plans to lead by example on and off the ice.
He hopes to get an NCAA Division I or Division III scholarship and will probably study Business.  Once school is done he plans on becoming a Pilot and would be open to work as a Commercial or Helicopter Pilot.
Join me in welcoming Max Glashauser to Cochrane.
See you at the Rink!!!
