NCDC Announces 2025 All-Star Teams

164 Players will play across eight NCDC and USPHL Premier teams at All-Star Event

 

Foxboro, Mass., January 6, 2025 – The United States Premier Hockey League announced today the 164 players selected to play in the 2025 National Collegiate Development Conference All-Star Game, taking place Jan. 27-28, 2025, at the Foxboro Sports Center in Foxboro, Mass. Players were selected via team nominations with rosters determined by the All-Star team coaches.

The event will feature both NCDC and USPHL Premier conferences for the first time since 2021. The All-Star Game has been a focal point of the NCDC calendar since the league’s 2017-18 inception and has featured several players who went on to excel in the NCAA and NHL. NCDC/USPHL All-Star alumni include Drew O’Connor (Pittsburgh Penguins), Collin Graf (San Jose Sharks), and Yaniv Perets (Carolina Hurricanes), as well as NHL Draft Picks Sam Lipkin (Arizona Coyotes), Cameron Lund (San Jose Sharks), Cameron Whitehead (Vegas Golden Knights), Chase Clark (Washington Capitals), Shane Lachance (Edmonton Oilers) and Jackson Dorrington (Vancouver Canucks).  

 

“We are thrilled to announce the selection of these exceptional players for the USPHL All-Star teams,” said USPHL Deputy Commissioner Tony Zasowski. “They represent not only the bright future of the USPHL but the future of hockey itself. We can’t wait to see their talent and passion on full display as they hit the ice at the end of the month.”

Introducing Your 2024-25 Prospects All-Stars

Jared Rothman (F) | Rockets Hockey Club

Playing in his first NCDC season, Rothman (‘06/Chappaqua, N.Y.) has played 29 games and posted 16 goals and 22 assists for 38 total points. He’s scored six game-winning goals for the Rockets and is the second-highest-scoring player for the NCDC and the leading scorer for the Rockets this season.

 

 

 

Cameron Stehle (F) | Islanders Hockey Club 

Stehle (‘06/Raleigh, N.C.) has 28 total points (11 goals; 17 assists) in his first NCDC season, with one game-winning goal and a shootout winning goal. He’s played 17 games with the Islanders and enjoyed a 12-game points streak between Oct. 26 and Dec. 12. He’s the third highest scoring player for the Islanders this season.

 

 

 

Troy Hunka (F) | Ogden Mustangs

Hunka (‘06/North Canton, Ohio) is the third-best scoring NCDC rookie, scoring 11 goals and posting 14 assists for 25 total points in his inaugural season. He’s scoring one game-winning goal and one powerplay goal, and made three shootout goals. He has 24 games under his belt as he continues to make big statements in his first season with the Ogden Mustangs.

 

 

 

Justin Obrochta (F) | Utah Outliers

Obrochta (‘06/Garden Grove, Calif.) joined the Outliers this year from Gentry Academy in Minnesota and has been a fantastic addition to the team, posting nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points in 27 games. He recently posted a six-game, seven-point scoring streak from Nov. 15 to Nov. 30. 

 

 

 

Ryan Shea (F) | Jersey Hitmen

Shea (‘06/Norwell, Mass.) has been a terrific addition to the Hitmen, scoring 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points. His 11 goals are tied for second for the Jersey team, fulfilling the promise he showed playing last year with Milton Academy in Massachusetts. 

 

 

 

Shawn Swavely (F) | Rockets Hockey Club

Swavely (’06/Reading, Penn.) is making big statements in his second NCDC season. He has played 27 games and scored 18 points in 2024-25. He has 28 career points across 67 games. He’s the fifth-highest-scoring player for the Rockets this season. 

 

 

 

Devin Niles (F) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Niles (‘06/Hatfield, Mass.) is back to the NCDC Prospects Game after also playing in the event in 2024 at Boston University. The second-year Jr. Islanders already has 18 goals and 48 points in 72 career NCDC games, including 17 points in 23 games this year. He is also a product of the Springfield Pics’ strong 16U team, where he played two years, including in the Tier 1 Hockey Federation. 

 

 

Jack Martin (F) | Seacoast Spartans

Rookie Martin (‘06/Scotia, N.Y.) is the Seacoast Spartans’ points leader this season, with eight goals and nine assists for 17 total points in his first NCDC season. Over 27 games, he has scored two powerplay goals and one short-handed goal. 

 

 

 

Aidan Petroff (F) Northern Cyclones 

Petroff (‘06/Natrona Heights, Penn.) is making a name for himself in his rookie NCDC season, with seven goals and 13 assists across 19 games. With 20 total points, he is the 13th highest-scoring rookie in the NCDC and continues to add up points as the season progresses. 

 

 

 

Tomas Smetanka (F) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

At 48 career games, Smetanka (‘06/Chotebor, Czechia) is approaching a milestone 50 games played with the P.A.L. Junior Islanders. The forward has 24 career points, with 12 this season across five goals and seven assists, including three powerplay goals. 

 

 

 

 

Tyler Kusznier (F) | Rockets Hockey Club

The third-highest scorer for the Rockets this season, Kusznier (’07/High Bridge, N.J.) has 19 points in his first NCDC season, including six goals and 13 assists. He scored points in 14 of the 26 games he played in 2024-25.

 

 

 

 

Justin Thibault (F) | Mercer Chiefs

Thibault (’08) is the ninth-highest-scoring rookie in the NCDC, with 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points this season. He’s scored points in all but six of 21 games played and has two game-winning goals and three powerplay goals to his name, helping him be the fifth-best in points for the Mercer Chiefs. 

 

 

 

Michael Fischer (D) | Boston Dogs

Fischer (‘04/Guelph, Ont.) was named as the Dogs’ representative in the All-Star game, thanks to the leadership and skill he’s built over a four-year junior career. He is in his second season with the Boston Dogs organization and he has 10 points in 19 games. 

 

 

 

Lucas Hihn (D) | Utah Outliers

Hihn (‘06/Burlington, Ont.) joined the Outliers this year out of Ohio’s Gilmour Academy. Hihn has put up three goals and 14 points in 24 games so far this season. He is the leading scorer from the blue line for the Outliers.  

 

 

 

Logan Brennan (D) | South Shore Kings

Brennan (‘06/Hingham, Mass.) is a strong local area product, having joined the defending Dineen Cup champion from Hingham High School, a longtime public powerhouse in the state. He has a goal and an assist this season through 19 games. 

 

 

 

 

Gabriel Simpson (D) | Rockets Hockey Club 

Simpson (‘07/Lafayette, Colo.), a Lindenwood University NCAA Division I commit, has been an impactful blueliner with the Rockets this season, scoring two goals and registering seven assists over 28 games in his first season, including a powerplay goal. He’s the second-highest-scoring defenseman for the Rockets this season. 

 

 

 

Algirdas Jaras (D) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Jaras (‘07/Lithuania) has played 11 games with the P.A.L. Junior Islanders this season, helping them top the leaderboard of the NCDC Atlantic Division. He has four assists to his name so far in 2024-25. Jaras played one game with the team last season. 

 

 

 

 

Thomas Dandurand (D) | Northern Cyclones

Dandurand (‘07/Blainville, Canada) has shown himself to be an impressive defenseman, helping the Northern Cyclones hit second place in the New England division standings. With eight points across 27 games, he’s scored two goals and six assists so far this season. 

 

 

 

Trevor Bodie (D) | Rockets Hockey Club 

Bodie (‘07/Kingston, N.Y.) put together a fantastic Midget career with the New York Dynamo program in the Tier 1 Hockey Federation, before joining the Rockets for his first two junior games in 2023-24. For this 2024-25 season, he has put up five assists in 26 games. 

 

 

 

Dilans Birkans (G) | Ogden Mustangs

Birkans (‘06/Ikskile, Latvia) is 9-2-0-1 in his first season with the Ogden Mustangs with a .945 save percentage. He’s made 311 saves on 329 shots and has a 1.47 goals against average. He performed two shutout games at the beginning of the season and is the best-performing goalie of the NCDC. 

 

 

 

Charlie Durkin (G) | Idaho Falls Spud Kings 

Durkin (‘06/Glencoe, Ill.) has an impressive 16-4-0-1 in his rookie season as a goaltender for the Spud Kings to become the sixth-best performing goaltender in the NCDC. He has a .927 save percentage and two shutout wins and has only conceded 48 goals out of 661 shots over 22 games. 

 

Introducing Your New England Division All-Stars

Braxton Powers (F) | Islanders Hockey Club

Powers (‘04/Raleigh, N.C.) is a critical veteran player on the Islanders’ NCDC team. In his fourth season, he is the franchise leader in all-time points (103), goals (52), and games played (124). He continues to add to his storied legacy with the Islanders, scoring 20 goals and 19 assists this season, including two game-winning goals. He is on a 14-game points streak that began on Oct. 26 and is the NCDC’s points leader this season. 

 

 

Jack DesRuisseaux (F) | South Shore Kings

The Sacred Heart University (NCAA Division I) commit and returning Dineen Cup Champion leads the first place Kings in goal-scoring with 12 goals, and he is third in points on the team with 27 points. He has exactly 43 points in 43 career regular season games. 

 

 

 

Joseph Samango (F) | Islanders Hockey Club

With 32 points this season, Samango (‘05/Havertown, Penn.) is the seventh-highest scoring player in the NCDC and second-highest points leader for the Islanders. He’s played 27 games in his second season with the Isldaners, scoring four game-winning goals and two powerplay goals. He’s played 78 career games and has 51 career points. He’s currently on a 14-game points streak that began on Oct. 31.

 

 

Will Rassier (F) | South Shore Kings

Rassier (‘04/Princeton, N.J.) has been the leading scorer for the defending Dineen Cup Champs essentially from Day 1 of the season. Already sporting a career-best 31 points in 25 games, he continues to shine a light forward for the Kings as a second-year NCDC veteran. Rassier’s 22 assists rank fourth in the NCDC.

 

 

 

Michael Markowski (F) | Northern Cyclones

Markowksi (‘04/Spring Lake, N.J.) has played 80 games in his two seasons with the Northern Cyclones, garnering 68 career points – 30 of them in the 2024-25 season with 18 goals and 12 assists. He has four game-winning goals to his name and is the leading points scorer for the Northern Cyclones this season and number 12 on the NCDC points leaderboard. 

 

 

Daniel Urban (F) | Utica Jr. Comets

Urban (‘04/Orchard Park, N.Y.) starts 2025 just one point outside of the Utica Jr. Comets’ all-time NCDC Top 10 scoring leaderboard. He has 53 points in 76 games, including a career-high 32 points in 29 games this season so far. He also enters the new year on a seven-game, 11-point scoring streak and as the NCDC’s assist leader with 26 helpers. 

 

 

Niko Benjamin (F) | Utica Jr. Comets

With 85 points in 170 career games with Utica, Benjamin (‘04/Surprise, Ariz.) is the organization’s all-time games played leader and he ranks third in all-time points – and first among active Jr. Comets. With 28 points in 28 games this season, he is closing in on bypassing his career high of 34 points set last year. 

 

 

 

Jake Kavanagh (F) | South Shore Kings

Another key returning player from last year’s Dineen Cup Championship team, Kavanagh (‘05/Montreal, Que.) starts 2025 on a 10-game, 14-point scoring streak, most of which came during the Kings’ 19-game winning streak which tied for the longest W run in NCDC history. He is tied with teammate Rassier for fourth in NCDC assists. 

 

 

 

Mathieu Fournier (F) | Boston Jr. Rangers

Fournier (‘04/Quebec City, Que.), a third-year junior veteran, has been a huge piece of all the success the Jr. Rangers have earned in their first NCDC season, putting up 28 points in 30 games for the first-year NCDC squad. 

 

 

 

Ian Duffy (F) | Northern Cyclones 

Duffy (‘04/Chester Springs, Pa.) is a third-year NCDC veteran who has been a top contributor to the Cyclones for the past two seasons. In 106 regular season games, he has 90 points, and this season, he has racked up 26 points in 29 games and is reunited on the New England All-Stars with former NCDC teammate Ricky Volpe. 

 

 

 

Roman Wainwright (F) | Thunder Hockey Club

Wainwright (‘05/Detroit, Mich.) continues to be Mr. Dependable for the Thunder, playing in their first year in Middleton, Mass. He has posted 17 points in 24 games to lead the Thunder, and he has 36 points for his two-year career. During his time with the Little Caesars 16U AAA team, he was a teammate of Mountain Division All-Star D.J. MacLeish. 

 

 

Marcus Bellomo (F) | Seacoast Spartans 

Bellomo (‘04/Salem, N.H.) has been a keystone player for the Seacoast Spartans this season, scoring eight goals and seven assists, including two game-winning goals, two powerplay goals, and a short-handed goal. He’s played 29 games in his first NCDC season and is the second-highest points scorer for the franchise this season.

 

 

 

Jason Zaccari (D) | South Shore Kings

Defending Dineen Cup Champion Zaccari (‘05/Santa Ana, Calif.), a Trinity College commit, is putting together another outstanding season on the Kings blue line. He has posted 19 points in 20 games, and he will make his second straight NCDC All-Star appearance. For his career, he has 54 points in 69 games, putting him into the Top 10 for all-time Kings NCDC scoring. 

 

 

 

Gregor Jennersjo (D) | South Shore Kings

Jennersjo (‘04/Ekero, Sweden) is a top-notch addition to what was already going to be a packed, experienced Kings team looking for a repeat Dineen Cup in 2025. Coming in with NAHL experience, he has 22 points in 25 games, ranking third among NCDC defensemen. He may find himself lining up at the All-Star event alongside former Bishop’s College teammate Thierry Lizotte, of the Northern Cyclones. 

 

 

Zachary Walsh (D) | South Shore Kings

The Hamilton College commit Walsh (‘05/Lake View, N.Y.) has gone from 2022 Kings NCDC Entry Draft Pick to All-Star selection and an NCAA-bound blueliner. He has 20 points in 26 games this year, ranking seventh in league scoring by defensemen. He is a former Millbrook School alum with fellow New England All-Star Daniel Urban. 

 

 

 

Brian Grant (D) | South Shore Kings

Grant (‘04/Mansfield, Mass.) is a second-year King and another top contributor returning from last year’s Dineen Cup Champion. Grant has put up 15 points, already more than doubling his 2023-24 season total. Grant is committed to Babson College, 

 

 

 

 

Ricky Volpe (D) | Utica Jr. Comets

Volpe (‘04/Commack, N.Y.) joined the Jr. Comets with already two full NCDC seasons under his belt. He has reached a career high in points with 21 this year, helping him rank among the top four in NCDC defenseman scoring. He is a former Long Island Royals AAA teammate of Atlantic Division All-Star Ryan Kearney. 

 

 

 

Samuel Larsson (D) | Islanders Hockey Club

Larsson (‘04/Stockholm, Sweden) is the highest-scoring defenseman and fifth-highest points leader for the Islanders this season, posting three goals and 15 assists over 27 games. In his second season with the NCDC, he has 51 total points across 78 career games, with 10 goals and 41 assists. 

 

 

 

Thierry Lizotte (D) | Northern Cyclones

Lizotte (‘04/St-François, Canada) is an impressive blueliner for the Northern Cyclones, with 34 career points across 72 games. This season, he’s scored one goal and registered one assist, with 28 games and counting played. 

 

 

 

 

Paul Dalessio (G) | Northern Cyclones

Dalessio (‘05/Burlington, Mass.) is 8-1-0-1 in his third NCDC season with a .944 save percentage. With a 1.85 goals against average, he is the third-best goaltender in the league for 2024-25 so far, only conceding 48 shots out of 699 over 15 games. 

 

 

 

Cole Sculliion (G) | Worcester Railers JHC

Scullion (‘06/Burlington, Ont.) has been a massive presence for the first-year Railers, winning multiple New England Division Goaltender of the Week awards through the first half. His 10 wins this year put him into the Top 10 for that category in the league.

 

 

 

 

Introducing your Mountain Division All-Stars

Andrew Schmidt (F) | Idaho Falls Spud Kings

Schmidt (‘05/Chicago, Ill.) has been a standout in his second NCDC season, scoring 36 points to be the third-best points leader for the league and points leader for the Spud Kings. He’s scored 18 goals and 18 assists over 27 games this season, has played 40 career games, and has 43 career points. He’s currently on a 10-game points streak that began on Nov. 22. 

 

 

Easton Edwards (F) | Idaho Falls Spud Kings

Edwards (’05/Anchorage, Alaska) has 47 career points and two seasons with the Idaho Falls Spud Kings under his belt. This season, he registered 13 goals and 18 assists across 27 games, garnering 31 total points to be the second-highest points leader for his team and breaking through the top 10 highest-scoring players in the NCDC.

 

 

 

Jon Raatikainen (F) | Idaho Falls Spud Kings

Raatikainen (‘04/Kaaro, Finland) joined the Idaho Falls Spud Kings this season after playing his inaugural NCDC season with the Provo Predators. For 2024-25, he registered three goals and five assists for eight points in 19 games played so far. He has 35 career points across 71 games played in his two NCDC seasons. 

 

 

 

Matsvei Marshchanok (F) | Pueblo Bulls

One of two twins on the Mountain Division team and on the Bulls, Matsvei Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) joined from the USPHL Premier’s Potomac Patriots, along with his brother and fellow All-Star Siamion Marschanok. He is tied for 12th in league scoring, and he is leading the league in shorthanded assists with four. He has an 11-19-30 line in 24 games. 

 

 

Siamion Marshchanok (F) | Pueblo Bulls

Siamion Marshchanok was voted by USPHL Premier fans as the Most Valuable Player in the league for 2023-24 after scoring 112 points. With the Bulls, he has racked up 29 points in 22 games, and he is leading the league in shorthanded goals with four at the holiday break.  

 

 

 

Kaleb Pitman (F) | Rock Springs Grizzlies 

Pitman (‘04/Fergus Falls, Minn.) has put up 42 points in his career, to rank first all-time in the Grizzlies’ first two years of existence. He has 11 goals and 18 points in 25 games, and is close to bypassing the 24 points he put up in his first season in 2023-24. 

 

 

 

Garrett Joss (F) | Utah Outliers 

Joss (‘04/Whitby, Ont.) brought a bounty of skill and experience to the Outliers frontline when he joined in the inaugural Outliers NCDC season of 2023-24. He already had two Tier II junior seasons of experience. He was huge for Utah last year with 61 points in 53 games and his 89 career points make him the all-time top scorer for the organization in their two years as an NCDC team. He has 28 points in 27 games so far this season, including 18 goals which puts him into a tie for second in the NCDC at the holiday break. 

 

Makar Klochkov (F) | Utah Outliers 

Second to Joss in the all-time Outliers scoring leaderboard is Klochkov, a 2004-born native of Lake Elsinore, Calif. Klochkov is leading the Outliers in assists this season, with 18. Along with three goals, he has 21 points in 27 games in this second season, and 74 points in 71 regular season games. 

 

 

 

Brody Simko (F) | Ogden Mustangs

The leading points scorer for the Mustangs and the fifth-best points leader for the NCDC this season, Simko (‘04/Butler, Penn.) has 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points across 27 games in 2024-25 so far, with three game-winning goals. Playing in his second season, he has 77 points (39 goals; 38 assists) across 76 games.

 

 

 

Jiri Duda (F) | Ogden Mustangs

Duda (‘05/Glen Ellyn, Ill.) is the third-best points leader for the Mustangs this season, with 24 total points (11 goals; 13 assists) in his inaugural NCDC season. With 23 games played, he has three game-winning goals to his name and is currently on a five-game points streak that he began on Nov. 29. 

 

 

 

Jackson Walsh (F) | Ogden Mustangs

Walsh (‘05/Northville, Mich.) is the eighth-best points leading rookie in the NCDC this season, registering 22 points across 21 games. He has four goals and 18 assists, including one game-winning goal and one powerplay goal. 

 

 

 

Roman Cherniak (F) | Ogden Mustangs

Cherniak (‘04/Desert Blume, Alb.) is approaching his 50th career game with the Mustangs. With 46 games played, he has 43 career points (17 goals; 26 assists). He is the fourth-highest scoring leader for the Mustangs this season, with 24 total points, including two game-winning goals and five power play goals. 

 

 

 

Ryan Tong (D) | Ogden Mustangs 

Tong (‘04/Burnaby, Canada) has been a statement-making blueliner for the Mustangs this season, to become the scoring leader defenseman for the franchise with 20 total points. He registered three goals and 17 assists over 27 games in his inaugural NCDC season. 

 

 

 

Grant Hineman (D) | Ogden Mustangs

Hineman (‘04/West Chester, Penn.) is playing in his second NCDC season, with 77 career games and 25 career points to his name. This season, he’s registered two goals and 11 assists as a blueliner, with 13 total points over 27 games. 

 

 

 

Edvin Edlund (D) | Rock Springs Grizzlies

At the holiday break, Edlund (‘05/Ostersund, Sweden) was the only defenseman leading his team in scoring, as he put up 21 points in 28 games so far this season. He is fourth overall in NCDC defenseman scoring and second in goals by a defenseman in the league. 

 

 

 

D.J. MacLeish (D) | Idaho Falls Spud Kings

MacLeish (‘05/Troy, Mich.) is the leading blueliner in points for the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, scoring two goals and 10 assists, including two shootout goals. In his second NCDC season, he has 59 career points across 62 career games. 

 

 

 

Lucas Karlsson (D) | Idaho Falls Spud Kings

In his second season with the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, Karlsson (‘05/Köping, Sweden) has 10 points across 22 games, including one powerplay goal. The blueliner has 17 career points to his name, and has appeared in 47 games, approaching a milestone 50 in the coming weeks. 

 

 

 

Xavier Brooks (D) | Casper Warbirds

Brooks (‘04/Scarborough, Canada) joined the Casper Warbirds for his second NCDC season and is the leading defenseman in points for the franchise. He’s scored one goal and 10 assists for 11 points across 23 games. Brookes has played 31 career games. 

 

 

 

Chase Nyitray (D) | Utah Outliers

Nyitray (‘06/Maumee, Ohio) just recently surpassed 50 games played, appearing in his 51st with the Utah Outliers on Dec. 21. With 11 points this season, he is the second-highest scoring defenseman for the team this season. He has four goals and eight assists across two seasons in the NCDC. 

 

 

 

Devin Peck (G) | Pueblo Bulls

Peck (‘05/Colorado Springs, Colo.) is 9-7-0-1 in his first NCDC season. He has a .908 save percentage and has made 530 saves on 584 shots in 17 games played for the Pueblo Bulls. 

 

 

 

Marcus Ouellet (G) | Utah Outliers

Ouellet (‘04/Toronto) is 10-4-0-1 in his first season with the Outliers with a .923 save percentage. He has two shutout wins and has made 540 saves on 585 shots over 18 games, breaking the top 15 best-performing goaltenders in the NCDC.

 

 

 

Introducing your Atlantic Division All-Stars

Arthur Mirante (F) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

In his second season with P.A.L., Mirante (‘04/Garden City, N.J.) has 31 points across 14 goals and 17 assists, to be the points leader for the team this season and ninth-highest for the NCDC. Mirante has 38 career points over 72 career games. 

 

 

 

Ryan Franks  (F) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Also in his second NCDC season, Franks (‘05/Roslyn, N.Y.) has been an impactful forward player, with 61 career points over 78 games. This season, he is the second-best points leader for P.A.L., with 29 total points over 17 goals and 12 assists. He’s currently on a six-game points streak that began on Dec. 5. 

 

 

 

Ryan Kearney  (F) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Kearney (‘04/Kings Park, N.Y.) is the third-best points leader for P.A.L. this season, scoring eight goals and registering 17 assists for 25 total points in his second year with the team. He has 74 career points across 78 career games.

 

 

 

 

Aiden Ryan (F) | Jersey Hitmen

In his third NCDC season, Ryan (‘04/Raleigh, N.C.) is approaching his centennial game, having played 96 career games. He’s played 29 games with the Jersey Hitmen so far this season. Ryan has registered 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 points, becoming the leading pointsman for the Hitmen and the fourth-highest-scoring player in the NCDC. 

 

 

 

Breyden Zupsansky (F) | Jersey Hitmen

Mielock (‘04/Grand Rapids, Mich.) has 70 NCDC games under his belt. In his second NCDC season, he has 29 points across 29 games, posting nine goals and 20 assists. He’s the number two points leader for the Jersey Hitmen so far this season. 

 

 

 

Gregory Diamond (F) | Mercer Chiefs

At 90 career games, Diamond (‘04/West Chester, Penn.) is approaching his centennial game with the Mercer Chiefs. In his third NCDC season and with 29 games under his belt, the forward has 29 points: 13 goals and 16 assists. He is the second-highest points leader for the Chiefs.

 

 

 

Samuel Ciappa (F) | Mercer Chiefs

Ciappa (‘05/Baldwinsville, N.Y.) has been a standout rookie and overall player for the NCDC this season. With 32 points, he is the points leader for the Mercer Chiefs and the best-scoring rookie in the league. Over 31 games, he’s scored 12 goals and 20 assists, including one game-winning goal, three powerplay goals, and a short-handed goal. 

 

 

 

Alexander Ondos (F) | Connecticut Jr. Rangers

Ondos (‘04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) is leading the Jr. Rangers this season in scoring with 19 points in 28 games as a returning veteran leader for the Connecticut squad. Ondos now has 43 points in 76 games for his two-year NCDC career. He is a former two-year GBL Jr. Bruins AAA teammate of New England All-Star Jack DesRuisseaux. 

 

 

 

Robert Lachance (F) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Lachance (‘04/West Hartford, Conn.) is in his second season with P.A.L., appearing in 24 games and registering 22 points (six goals; 16 assists) so far this season. In 65 career games, he’s scored 36 total points and has five game-winning goals to his name. 

 

 

 

Joshua Swan (F) | West Chester Wolves

Swan (‘04/Chateauguay, Que.) registered 21 points through his first 28 games, to rank second in Wolves scoring. He joined the first-year Wolves as a junior veteran from the EHL.  

 

 

 

Zackary Chouinard (F) | Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 

Chouinard (‘04/Montreal, Que.) is a great example of USPHL Advancement In Action, as he was a standout with the WBS Knights’ USPHL Premier team in 2023-24, scoring 57 points and earning four games with the NCDC team. Now, he’s an NCDC All-Star with 12 points in 27 games to lead the Knights in scoring. 

 

 

 

Wilson Farrow (D) | Jersey Hitmen

Farrow (‘04/Sudbury, Canada) has 24 points in his second NCDC season and first full season with the Jersey Hitmen. He may be new to the Hitmen, but he is a four-year Tier II junior veteran with previous stints in the OJHL and NAHL. With 24 points, he ranks second among NCDC defensemen in scoring. 

 

 

 

Lucas Di Chiara (D) | Jersey HItmen 

The second-year Hitmen veteran Di Chiara (‘04/Fairfield, Conn.) has 16 points in 24 games and 38 points in 72 career games. Like Farrow, Di Chiara is in his fourth career Tier II junior season.  

 

 

 

 

Carson Nickulas (D) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Nickulas (‘04/Barnstable, Mass.) is one of the highest-scoring defensemen in the NCDC this season, with 17 points over five goals and 12 assists. He has played 26 games in his first season with the P.A.L. Junior Islanders. 

 

 

 

Aidan Holland (D) | P.A.L. Junior Islanders

Holland (‘05/Topsfield, Mass.) is the leading defenseman in points for P.A.L., with 17 points across six goals and 11 assists, including one game-winning goal and three powerplay goals. In his second NCDC season, Holland has played 72 career games and garnered 26 career points. 

 

 

 

Jake Stevens (D) | Mercer Chiefs 

Mercer Chiefs defenseman Stevens (’05/Newton, N.J.) played only one game last season but has returned this season as a standout blueliner. He has scored 26 points across 26 games, with two goals and 24 assists, to be the leading defenseman in points for the NCDC this season. He’s the third-best points leader for the Mercer Chiefs. 

 

 

Dylan Margel (D) | Rockets Hockey Club

The leading defenseman in scoring for the Rockets, Margel (‘05/Potomac, Md.), is a key player for the squad. Playing his second NCDC season, he has 19 points with seven goals and 12 points for the 2024-25 season. He has 23 career points across 70 career games. He’s the ninth-highest-scoring defenseman in the NCDC this season. 

 

 

 

Brayden Sprickman (D) | West Chester Wolves

Sprickman (‘05/Erie, Pa.) is enjoying a strong first season in the NCDC with the first-year Wolves, joining from the Twin City Ice Mavericks AAA program. Sprickman is in a three-way tie for fourth in league scoring with 21 points.  

 

 

 

 

Dominick Gatto (G) | Mercer Chiefs

Gatto (‘05/Saint Charles, Ill.) is 16-7-0-1 in his second season with the Mercer Chiefs, with a .932 save percentage and two shootout wins to his name. He’s made 773 saves on 829 shots against him in 24 games. The goaltender has played 3,512 minutes over 59 games in his two NCDC seasons. 

 

 

 

Griffin Davis (G) | West Chester Wolves

A strong veteran presence in net was crucial for the Wolves to experience first-year success and Davis (‘05/Nashua, N.H.) was the right answer. Now with 39 games of NCDC experience under his belt, he holds a .929 save percentage for his two-year career and he has been a powerful goaltender with a 13-5-0-0 record and .941 save percentage. He is ranked fourth in save percentage and third in wins.
