NCDC Atlantic Division Players Of The Week: March 14, 2025

Games of March 4-10, 2025

 

Forward: Jared Rothman, Rockets Hockey Club

Rothman (‘06/Chappaqua, N.Y.) scored two goals and added two assists to push him over the 60-point mark for this season. This put him into fourth place in league scoring with 61 points in 49 games. 

 

Defense: Jake Stevens, Mercer Chiefs 

Stevens (‘05/Newton, N.J.) scored a goal and added three assists for four points for the past week. He improved to 50 points in 45 games, which leads all the NCDC in points by a defenseman. 

 

Goaltender: Cole Werthman, Mercer Chiefs 

Werthman (‘06/Levittown, Pa.) stopped all 50 shots he faced from the Jersey Hitmen on March 7, and this was his third shutout with Mercer since joining the Chiefs in late January. With Mercer, he is 5-0 with a .986 save percentage. 

 

Rookie: Timur Naletov, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

Naletov (‘06/St. Petersburg, Russia) scored twice and added an assist for three points over two games against Connecticut. He has scored 18 points in 44 games so far this year, after joining from the Esmark Stars in the THF.

Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
