NCDC Commitments: Thunder’s Lacroix Committed To Southern New Hampshire U.

By Alexis Demopoulos

Thunder Hockey Club forward Jeremy LaCroix is excited to announce his NCAA Division II commitment to Southern New Hampshire University for the 2025-26 season.

LaCroix, a Marlboro, Mass., native, has had years of experience playing in the NCDC. LaCroix played 13 games and had three points with the Jr. Bruins during the 2022-23 season and put up 10 points in 25 games with them last season. He started the 2024-25 season with the Boston Jr. Rangers where he played in 27 games, contributing 14 points. In mid-December he joined the Thunder Hockey Club and finished out the season playing 18 games for them.

“The Thunder Hockey Club is a great organization that truly cares about their players,” said LaCroix.

LaCroix started communicating with the SNHU coaching staff last year. He explained that the coaches really loved his speed and his physical game play.

Upon stepping foot on campus, LaCroix loved everything from the coaching staff to the dorms. He also liked that it was just a short ride away from home.

“The coaching staff was very nice and friendly,” said LaCroix. “The environment and campus were great and close to home. The campus was beautiful. From the dorms to the classrooms to dining halls everything was very nice and updated.”

Before taking his skills to the college level, LaCroix plans to continue to work on his strength, speed and skill work this offseason.

Though his juniors career is over, as the Thunder Hockey Club finished the season 20-31-0-3, just shy of a play-in game berth, LaCroix is excited to start this next chapter.

The NCDC congratulates Jeremy LaCroix, his family, the Thunder Hockey Club and Southern
New Hampshire University for his commitment.
