Forward: Arthur Mirante, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
Mirante (‘04/Garden City, N.Y.) put up three goals and three assists for six points for 3.0 points per game over the two games that the Jr. Islanders won against West Chester and Connecticut. Mirante has already bypassed his 2023-24 point total, with his line of 3-5-8 in seven games.
Defense: Wilson Farrow, Jersey Hitmen
Farrow (‘04/Sudbury, Ont.) returns yet again – three times in a row to this honor – after he scored the GWG against the WBS Knights on Oct. 11, and then added three assists one day later for a four-point weekend. With a 2-11-13 line in eight games, he leads all other defensemen in the NCDC by no less than five points.
Goaltender: Dominick Gatto, Mercer Chiefs
Gatto (‘05/St. Charles, Ill.) continues to impress, recently stopping 79 out of 81 shots in two games, including a 41-save shutout against the West Chester Wolves. His .950 save percentage ranks him among the top 10 league-wide, and he is on a four-game winning streak.
Rookie: Ethan Ramonetti, P.A.L. Junior Islanders
Another week, another headline first junior start for an NCDC goalie in the Atlantic Division. Ethan Ramonetti (‘06/East Northport, N.Y.) stopped 40 of 41 shots on Oct. 12 against Connecticut for the W. Ramonetti joined the Jr. Islanders out of the Groton School and Neponset Valley River Rats in Massachusetts.
