Jersey Hitmen 4, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 3 (SO) 

Aiden Ryan (’04/Raleigh, N.C.) scored twice and added the shootout-winning goal to push the Hitmen to a big win against the Atlantic Division-leading P.A.L. Jr. Islanders on Saturday. Ty Oller (’05/Wayne, N.J.) scored a 1-2-3 line and Lucas Di Chiara (’04/Fairfield, Conn.) put up two assists. Nick Bunch (’05/Canton, Mich.) stopped 36 of 39 shots in the win.

 

Northern Cyclones 4, Thunder Hockey Club 1

The Cyclones are unbeaten in regulation over their last 11 games (8-0-3-0). Lorenzo Marra (’06/Latham, N.Y.) scored twice and, in net, Logan Abric (’04/Hayward, Wis.) put up 27 saves on 28 shots.

 

Rockets Hockey Club 6, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 3

Jared Rothman (’06/Chappaqua, N.Y.) registered three straight goals to start their game on Saturday, which pushed the Rockets’ point streak to 4-0-0-1. He also added one assist.  Timotej Varga (’05/Presov, Slovakia) had a goal and two assists. Cooper Struckel (’06/Chicago, Ill.) and Quinten Harvie (’05/Comox, B.C.) each had a goal and an assist. Derek Wood (’06/Louisville, Colo.) stopped 33 of 36 shots.

 

Connecticut Jr. Rangers 6, West Chester Wolves 2

Carl Ericksen (’04/Okemos, Mich.) and Nathaniel Harrison (’05/Westport, Conn.) each had a goal and an assist. Jakub Kral (’04/Czechia) stopped 36 of 38 shots for the win in a game that saw six different goal-scorers put in goals for Connecticut.

 

Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4, Casper Warbirds 1

The Spud Kings extended their winning streak to six games and maintained their two-point lead in the Mountain Division to close the weekend. Easton Edwards (’05/Anchorage, Alaska) scored a goal and an assist, while in net, Alex Sabev (’06/Mounds View, Minn.) stopped 16 shots to get the victory.

 

Pueblo Bulls 4, Utah Outliers 1

The Marshchanok twins helped lead the way to a Pueblo Bulls victory. Siamion Marshchanok scored twice and Matsvei Marshchanok had two assists. In net, Noel Friedman (’05/Denver, Colo.) stopped 28 of 29 shots for the win.

 

Ogden Mustangs 6, Rock Springs Grizzlies 2

The Mustangs were led to victory by two goals from Tom Jacques (’04/Louisville, Ky.) The team had two assists apiece from Tommy Feetterman (’05/Downington, Pa.), Billie Jacobson-Couch (’05/Portland, Ore.) and Grant Hineman (’04/West Chester, Pa.) Cole Wilmert (’04/Ogden, Utah) registered a goal and an assist. Dilans Birkans (’06/Ilskile, Latvia) stopped 20 of 22 shots.
