James Chase (’06/Williston, Vt.) scored the GWG in his second game after being acquired from the Jersey Hitmen. In net, Jakub Kral (’04/Czechia) stopped 31 of 32 shots. On the other side, Emmanuel Pepin (’05/St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Que.) was also strong with 46 saves on 48 shots.

The Jr. Comets won their second in a row against the Spartans, with both Declan Stewart (’05/North Las Vegas, Nev.) and Daniel Urban (’04/Orchard Park, N.Y.) scoring two goals. Urban also added two assists. Cody Pisarczyk (’04/Calgary, Alb.) scored one goal and added two assists. The Chiefs scored five goals – all in the third period – for a complete comeback from a 3-0 deficit. The Kings won their sixth in a row, with Justin Bayers (’06/Kamas, Utah) registering 28 saves for the shutout victory. The Spud Kings broke out in a big way for their eighth win in a row, with Easton Edwards (’05/Anchorage, Alaska) and Bookie Warshaw (’05/Gilbert, Ariz.) each scoring two goals and an assist to push their team to the big win. Carter Davis (’05/Elk River, Minn.) and William Donovan (’04/Zionsville, Ind.) each had three assists, and Andrew Schmidt (’05/Chicago, Ill.) put up a goal and two assists.
