Mercer Chiefs 6, Jersey Hitmen 5 (OT)

An #instantclassic that saw the Chiefs start out with a 5-2 lead before the Hitmen clawed their way back to force overtime. Nickita Moiseev’s first of the year was the overtime game-winner, and he also added an assist. Gavin Bloder scored two for the winners, and Ethan Byrne had two assists. On the Hitmen side, Jayar Luedke and Tristan Caldwell each posted 1-1-2 lines and Darik Feasey had two assists. Dominick Gatto stopped 44 of 49 for the win.

 

Northern Cyclones 1, Northern Cyclones 0 (SO)

Nikita Ushakov scored the deciding shootout goal, and both the Jr. Comets’ and Cyclones’ goalies earned official shutouts. Waylon Esche stopped 34 shots and Jeffrey Fillion stopped 44.

 

Connecticut Jr. Rangers 1, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 0 (OT)

Rangers goalie Mason Joseph stopped all 36 shots for a shutout, and Max Jaldung scored 14 seconds into the overtime to give the Rangers a big road win.

 

P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 6, Rockets Hockey Club 4

The Jr. Islanders’ Coleson Hanrahan had a goal and an assist, and Ryan Kearney had two assists. P.A.L. got six goals from six different goal-scorers. Cam Bergeman scored two goals for the Rockets. Nick Bevilacqua stopped 30 of 34 shots for the winners.

 

Pueblo Bulls 4, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 3

Seven different goal-scorers registered goals and Ethan Thombs had the game-winner in regulation to give the Bulls a Saturday night win. Beau Altman made 40 saves on 43 shots. Thombs added an assist and Nate Farrell registered two helpers.

 

Ogden Mustangs 4, Utah Outliers 1

Parker Osborn’s sixth of the year was the GWG and the game saw five different goal-scorers. Daniel Ellingson had a goal and an assist and Cooper Fink and Payton Struck each had two assists. Cameron Hollands stopped 32 of 33 in the win.

 

Provo Predators 5, Rock Springs Grizzlies 1

Nicholas Noble had two goals and one assist to lead the way for the Predators, and Lucca Ori posted a 1-2-3 line. Einar Naslund had a goal and an assist and JungSoo Park had 14 saves on 15 shots for the victory.
