Islanders Hockey Club 6, Northern Cyclones 0 

The Islanders Hockey Club got a 31-save shutout – his first in the NCDC – by Ryan Crowshaw (’04/West Hartford, Conn.) , along with two goals and one assist from Braxton Powers (’04/Raleigh, N.C.)  to give them a big victory against their local area rivals the Cyclones. Additionally, Alexei Filimonov (’04/St. Petersburg, Russia) scored a goal and added two assists, and A.J. Sacco (’05/Middleton, Mass.) had a

 

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 3, Rockets Hockey Club 2

The Knights came back from being down 2-0 to earn a 3-2 victory against the Rockets. Christian Day (’04/Barre, Vt.) scored a goal and an assist, Richard Komendat (’06/Kosice, Slovakia) had a goal and an assist, and the regulation game-winner came from Brogan Shea (’04/Williamstown, N.J.) Additionally, Emmanuel Pepin (’05/St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que.) made 40 saves on 42 shots for the win.

 

Mercer Chiefs 6, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 0 

William Filteau (’05/Napierville, Que.) scored a hat trick and added one assist, and Dominick Gatto (’05/St. Charles, Ill.) stopped all 22 shots he faced for a big Mercer victory on Saturday night. Additionally, Landon Adams (’04/St. Paul, Minn.) registered two goals, Jake Stevens (’05/Newton, N.J.) put up a goal and an assist, and the team got two assists from each of Noah Trempe (’06/Trois-Rivieres, Que.) and Nicholas Rockey (’06/Mullica Hill, N.J.)

 

Jersey Hitmen 1, West Chester Wolves 0 

The Hitmen saw Jack Kavetsky (’06/Westminster, Calif.) stop all 27 shots he faced in his junior hockey debut for a shutout. Captain Tyler Fogu (’04/Bayonne, N.J.) scored the only goal to cap the 1-0 victory.
