NCDC Stars of the Week | Feb. 2-8, 2026

ATLANTIC DIVISION

Forward:  Will O’Donovan – Connecticut Jr. Rangers: Connecticut Jr. Rangers forward Will O’Donovan posted 4 points over two games. On Friday’s 6-5 OT win, O’Donovan dished out an assist. He followed up in Saturday’s 5-1 victory by adding 2 goals and an assist. 

Defenseman: Chris Sarver – Mercer Chiefs: Mercer defenseman Chris Sarver added 4 points over 2 games. The blue-liner added a short-handed goal on Wednesday’s 4-2 win, then added 3 assists on Saturday’s 6-5 win. 

Goalie: Jakub Sirhal – Rockets Hockey Club: Rockets netminder Jakub Sirhal was outstanding in his latest outing against the West Chester Wolves, posting a 40-save shutout in a 3-0 win. Sirhal holds a 12-8 record that includes 3 shutouts on the year, with a 2.39 GAA and a .925 SV%. 

Rookie: Bryce Wood – Connecticut Jr. Rangers: Rookie defenseman Bryce Wood posted 4 points over 2 games for the Connecticut Jr. Rangers. Wood added 2 goals, both short-handed, and an assist on Friday’s 6-5 win, then added an assist in Saturday’s 5-1 win. 

MOUNTAIN DIVISION

Forward: Bookie Warshaw – Idaho Falls Spud Kings: Spud Kings forward Bookie Warshaw tallied 6 points in 2 games. Warshaw added a goal and 2 assists in each showing over the weekend.

Defenseman: Jack Squibbs – Ogden Mustangs: Ogden defender Jack Squibbs had 3 points over two games. On Saturday’s 5-4 OT win, Squibbs netted a power-play goal and added 2 assists. 

Goalie: Viggo Boston – Grand Junction River Hawks: River Hawks goalie Viggo Boston was perfect in his latest start, stopping all 21 shots he faced in a 4–0 win over the Casper Warbirds. Boston has been sensational holding a 10-3 record, a 1.65 GAA, .937 SV% and 2 shutouts. 

Rookie: Riku Permi – Pueblo Bulls: Rookie defenseman Riku Permi continues to impress at the NCDC level. Permi added a goal on Saturday’s 5-2 win. Over the 5 NCDC games in his career, Permi has posted 5 points (4G, 1A). 

NEW ENGLAND DIVISION

Forward: Jacob Carey – Springfield Pics: Springfield Pics forward Jacob Carey tallied 6 points over 3 games. Carey started off the week with 2 goals on Wednesday, followed by a goal and an assist in Friday’s game, then 2 assists to finish off the week on Saturday.

Defenseman: Patrick Dotson – Worcester Railers: Railers defenseman Patrick Dotson piled up 5 points over 2 games. Dotson added a goal and 2 assists in Wednesday’s 4-2 win. Then on Friday, Dotson added two more assists in a close 3-2 loss. 

Goalie: Brendan Nee – Boston Jr. Bruins: Boston Jr. Rangers goalie Brendan Nee put together a strong three-game stretch, going 2-0-1 while stopping 105 of 111 shots for a .946 save percentage. He opened the week with a 36-save performance in a 3–2 overtime loss, followed with back-to-back wins: 37 saves on 39 shots in a 3-2 victory, and 33 saves on 35 shots in a 4-2 win. 

Rookie: Griffin Bucci – South Shore Kings: South Shore rookie forward Griffin Bucci posted 5 points over 2 games. In Thursday’s 5-0 win, Bucci added a goal. He followed up that performance the next night adding another goal and dishing out 3 assists.
