SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced the game schedule for upcoming East Division final between the Cochrane Crunch and the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners.
This best-of-seven affair has all its games slated for 7:30 p.m. starts with action in the series getting underway Friday at the Tim Horton Event Centre in Cochrane.
Game 2 will go Sunday with the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex in Kirkland Lake serving as the venue.
The third game in the series will be held on Tuesday, April 5 in Cochrane before shifting back to Kirkland Lake on Thursday, April 7.
Should a fifth contest be required, the Crunch will host it on Saturday, April 9.
A sixth match-up, if necessary will see the Gold Miners serving as the home team on Monday, April 11.
Then, if the series goes the distance, Game 7 would be played on Wednesday, April 13.
The winner of this series will then take on the survivor of the West Division final between the Soo Thunderbirds and Elliot Lake Wildcats for the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy NOJHL championship.
