Rivermen announce appointment of VP of Operations …………..

The Espanola Rivermen Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Ginson as VP of Operations.
Scott brings a wealth of management experience to an already very deep organization in both management & junior hockey
experience.

“it’s a honour to work with this group and to be given the added responsibilities to help out in other areas that allow myself to also grow in
the game of junior hockey and to take some of the added off ice duties on at this time of the year,” said the Sudbury native and newly
appointed VP of Operations Scott Ginson. “Team Governor Tim Clayden and Head Coach Tom McCarthy have been first class all year
and the team staff have been welcoming since the start of the season, I look forward to both the advancement and the opportunity”
said Ginson.

Team Governor Tim Clayden commented on the promotion of Ginson adding; “we were very happy to have added Scott during the
off season to our hockey, he has been helping behind the scenes all year already and deserves the title and I am sure Scotty will fill
his added responsibilities very well.” said Clayden. “obviously, we had to do something with my suspension and fine being handed
down yesterday. Our organization is over flowing with good people so I don’t see anything at all changing within or how our team
operates. Frankly, I haven’t had a conversation with the current Commissioner since November, and still have not spoke to him,
it’s no secret that I have given up on believing in the NOJHL and it’s tyrannical leadership since early this season, it’s simply going
the wrong way. It’s a relief to be honest, I look forward to spending my time on more productive and positive junior hockey concepts
preparing for next season and I very much look forward to enjoying some Espanola buttered popcorn watching our team compete
during the real season. The Espanola Riverman are in good hands and will be stronger than ever throughout the playoffs and next
year and the year after too, it’s just the way were built”
