Ogden Mustangs’ Jake Meure Sets All-Time USPHL Premier Points Record

The United States Premier Hockey League congratulates the Ogden Mustangs’ Jake Meure on breaking the USPHL Premier’s all-time scoring record with a three-point game on Feb. 24. Meure now has 222 points, one more than former Toledo Cherokee Bailey Byrd put up between 2018 and 2022.

Meure currently stands sixth in league scoring for 2022-23 with 97 points off 45 goals and 52 assists in 50 games. In prior seasons, he posted 66 points in 47 games in 2020-21 and 559 points in 49 games in 2021-22.

Meure, a Buffalo State College commit, is a 2002-born native of Fremont, Calif., who joined the Mustangs out of the San Jose Jr. Sharks program.

Anything further that Meure scores in the final regular season game – tonight against Rock Springs at home – will increase his lead in the all-time race.

Look for more on Meure to come, including video clips and an interview.
