Ogden Mustangs’ Vlad Bryzgalov Ranked Among North American Goaltenders For 2024 NHL Entry Draft

National Hockey League Central Scouting released its annual Mid-Term rankings for the upcoming 2024 NHL Entry Draft, to be held in June in Las Vegas, Nev., June 28-29, 2024.

The National Collegiate Development Conference congratulates current Ogden Mustangs goaltender Vlad Bryzgalov for being ranked 31st among North American Goaltenders.

Bryzgalov was born Feb. 3, 2006, in Haddonfield, N.J., as the son of former NHL goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov. Coming out of the Bishop Kearney Selects AAA program, the Ogden Mustangs signed him for their inaugural NCDC season here in 2023-24.

Over 19 games played, Bryzgalov stands with an 11-5-1-1 record with a .935 save percentage, which ranks fourth in the NCDC, and a 2.19 goals against average, which ranks fifth.

“The Ogden Mustangs staff would like to congratulate Vlad Bryzgalov on his recent placement within NHL Central Scouting Mid-Term Rankings of North American Goalies. It is an honor to see a part of our family get such recognition,” said Mustangs GM/Head Coach Kenny Orlando. “Vlad is a young man who’s persistent and very driven to meet his career goals as a hockey player. Vlad comes to the rink every day with the mindset of competing and making his team better.

“As a young talent in the crease, he has adjusted quickly to the pace of play and matching the maturity of game in Tier II juniors. Vlad’s early successes this year are incredible, and we are excited to see where his development carries him on his journey to a prosperous hockey career.”

The NCDC joins the Ogden Mustangs in wishing Vlad Bryzgalov the very best of luck the rest of this season and beyond towards the NHL Entry Draft.
