Garvis & Paquette Reach 300 Games
Sebastien Garvis and Charlie Paquette each skated in their 300th OHL regular-season game this past week, becoming the second and third players born this millennium to reach the milestone.
Barrie Stays Hot
The Colts continue to roll, riding a ten-game point streak that includes six straight wins. Barrie cracked the top ten of the CHL Power Rankings this week for the first time this season after going 3-0, bolstered by strong performances from Emil Hemming (3-2–5), Kashawn Aitcheson (1-4–5), and Cole Beaudoin (2-3–5) following their return from the World Juniors. The trio has helped further solidify the Colts’ lead in the Central Division with a 28-10-2-4 record.
Ottawa Hits 30 Wins
The Ottawa 67’s became the first team in the league to reach 30 wins with a 2-1 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL on Friday night. The 67’s completed a sweep of the home-and-home interleague series with a 5-3 win before extending their streak to three straight victories with a 5-2 decision over the Peterborough Petes on Sunday.
Sudbury Prevails in Interleague Matchup
The Sudbury Wolves earned a 5-3 victory over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Sunday, helping the OHL go 3-0 in this season’s interleague matchups. Fresh off competing in the 2026 Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game, Rowan Henderson recorded six points (1-5–6) for Sudbury over the past week.
Humphries Earns First OHL Win
Oshawa Generals netminder Matthew Humphries picked up his first career OHL victory in his 23rd appearance on Sunday, stopping 30 shots in a 4-1 win over the Brampton Steelheads to snap the Generals’ 14-game losing skid. Humphries posted a 1-1 record on the week with a 2.20 GAA, .937 save percentage, and 89 saves, earning Mary Brown’s Chicken OHL Goaltender of the Week honours.
Vanacker Reaches 30 Goals
Brantford Bulldogs forward and OHL leading goal scorer Marek Vanacker became the first player in the league to reach the 30-goal mark, notching the milestone on Saturday against Kingston.
Saginaw Strikes Early
In Saturday’s 6-1 win over the Erie Otters, the Saginaw Spirit opened each period with a goal inside the first minute: James Guo (1st, 0:46), Nikita Klepov (2nd, 0:52), and Egor Barabanov (3rd, 0:26).
Walton Settling In
Since joining the Peterborough Petes at the trade deadline, Kieron Walton has scored in all four of his games with the club, bringing his season total to 28 goals – second-most in the league.
Costanzo Nearing Milestone
Windsor Spitfires goaltender Joey Costanzo earned his 22nd win of the season on Friday, marking the 97th of his OHL career, leaving him just three shy of the 100-win milestone. Currently, his 1.95 GAA leads the league.
Klepov Sweeps Weekly Player Honours
NHL Draft-eligible Saginaw Spirit forward Nikita Klepov was named both Cogeco OHL Player of the Week and OHL Rookie of the Week after recording six points (2-4–6) in two games. Klepov entered the week fresh off a standout showing in Peterborough, earning Player of the Game honours for Team West and the Connor McDavid 97 Award at the 2026 Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game.
Team West Tops Team East
Team West scored twice in the third period to secure a 4-3 victory over the host Team East in front of a sold-out crowd at the 2026 Connor McDavid Top Prospects Game. Nikita Klepov and Adam Novotny were named Connor McDavid 97 Players of the Game for their respective teams.
