OJHL Oates downs NOJHL, 5-2

Jackson Bales had one point to lead OJHL Oates to a 5-2 victory over NOJHL.

Others who scored for OJHL Oates included BJ Salerno, who had two and Ryan Garvey and Adam Brady, who each put in one. In addition, OJHL Oates received assists from Jacob Hayhurst, Joey Beaudoin, Anthony Marra, Joseph Berton, Ian Edmondson, Steve Hladin, Will Reilly, Rory McGuire, and Thomas Beretta, who contributed one each.

NOJHL’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three OJHL Oates power plays.

NOJHL was helped by Dylan CALLAGHAN, who racked up one goal. CALLAGHAN scored 1:04 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Khadyn BUTTERFLY assisted on the tally. NOJHL also got a goal from Dustin CORDEIRO as well. More assists for NOJHL came via Adam BAXTER, who had one.

OJHL Oates incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. NOJHL incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
