This week, Siamion Marshchanok was named the USPHL Premier Fan’s Choice Awards selection as the Most Valuable Player in the league for 2023-24.
He finished with an amazing 61.6 percent of the final vote, which racked up over 1,500 total votes. Between the first and second round of voting, the Patriots forward – an ‘05 from Belarus – earned more than 1,250 votes.
“I would like to thank all the fans who voted for me,” said Siamion, via WhatsApp. “I appreciate it. It’s a nice moment for me when people choose my game and they like my style of play!”
This year, Marshchanok scored 112 points, which tied him for fifth-most in a single USPHL Premier season. His 73 assists were ranked fourth all time.
Marshchanok’s abilities and contributions helped the Patriots to their best season in USPHL Premier history, as they went 36-3-3 for 78 points, and their .893 winning percentage ranked third in the league. The Patriots qualified for the USPHL Nationals for the first time in their team history and made it to the quarterfinal round. His 15 points in six postseason games ranked him in the top 20 all-time for a single postseason.
