Pre Draft Combine – 2015 Dates Announced

The Pre Draft Combine www.predraftcombine.com  will return to Patterson Ice Center in Grand Rapids Michigan beginning on May 7th through May 10th 2015.

Each player will participate in a minimum of five games. Cost includes Ice Time, on and off ice testing, Jersey, registration with the player profiles with The Junior Hockey News, player welcome package, as well as information on playing Junior and NCAA hockey. This camp is open for 1995 through 1999 birth years.

New to the Pre Draft Combine this year will be on ice testing.  All on and off ice testing will be administered by Hockey Tech and their Next Testing service.  Hockey Tech and Next Testing are a part of the International Scouting Services and Rinknet system.

NEXT Testing takes hockey testing to the NEXT level, with standardized tests measured by high tech precision sensors tracking players wearing RFID tags. Results are not just start and finish, but rather calculated with interval times, enabling scientific measurement of speed, acceleration, transition and reaction times. All results are summarized in an easily understandable and actionable format, including a single scored index called the NEXT Testing Index (NTI).

For the first time in hockey history, there is one universal test to measure every player on a truly level playing field – the Next Testing Index (NTI).

Each drill is measured by the objective eyes of precise laser gate sensors and an automated timing system utilizing RFID tracking.

Players will be able to compare their NTI scores with the top players in the world.  All data will be immediately available to scouts on line through ISS and Rinknet.  This puts each Pre Draft Combine participant immediately on the scouting radar.
