Rockets Hockey Club Names Matt Morrow As NCDC Head Coach

The Rockets Hockey Club is excited to announce the hiring of Matt Morrow as its new NCDC Head Coach. Matt is coming off his first season with the Rockets, where he served as Director of Player Personnel working with both the NCDC and USPHL Premier teams during the 2023-24 season.

Prior to joining the Rockets, Morrow served one year as director of analytics and assistant director of operations for the Penn State University NCAA Division I men’s hockey team in 2022-23, after serving as a volunteer assistant coach in 2021-22.

Morrow also held titles of program director and head coach at TRC Academy Hockey in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, competing in the CSSHL and Alliance AAA leagues, and five seasons with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs serving as the director of scouting and assistant coach for the NCDC squad, after winning an EHL championship with the Monarchs in 2016.

Morrow was also an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers of the EHL and an assistant coach with the Soo Eagles of the NAHL.
