Ryan Hutchinson Called up to Topeka Roadrunners!

Cougars Defenseman Ryan Hutchinson has been called up to the Topeka Roadrunners in the NAHL!

The 6’1, 210 lb Defenseman and Assistant Captain for the Cougars has been a presence on the back end this season both offensively and defensively. The punishing defender never likes opposing players coming into his zone and uses his physical style of play to show opponents he means business. Additionally, he carries a heavy shot and exceptional vision which has led him to 2 Goals, 10 Assists, for 12 Points through 10 Games with the Cougars.

Prior to the Cougars Hutchinson played 122 Games in the Ontario Hockey League before returning to hometown Chicago for a fresh start with the Cougars. “Ryan has represented our organization well his entire time here with the Cougars and had an immediate impact on our locker room from day 1, he deserves this opportunity to play at a higher level and we wish him continued success” said Head Coach Brad Stoffers.

The Roadrunners will be at home this weekend against the Springfield Jr. Blues and the Cougars will be at home taking on the Steele County Blades 8 PM on Friday and Saturday night! Fans wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month will have free admission both nights. See you at the Sears!
