  • Carson Rehkopf scored on the powerplay during his return to the Steelheads from the World Juniors.
  • Jack Ivankovic made made 24 saves in his return from the World Juniors, while Nathan Day made 31 saves in the loss.

  • After a third period push from the Otters, Ethan Belchetz scored the game-winner on the power play, securing a big comeback win for the Spitfires.
  • The Otters came out hot, scoring three goals right off the hop to take an early 3-0 lead. But the Spitfires were unbothered going on to score five unanswered to take control of the game.
  • Pano Fimis, who recently committed to the University of Notre Dame in the NCAA, scored to open up the scoring for the Otters.
  • Liam Greentree had two goals in the win.
