If you have ever been to, or played a game at the Pullar Center, chances are you fell in love with the building the minute you walked into it.
Some people call it age, but purists call it history. You can see and smell the history of the Pullar in ever corner of the building. Photos and trophy’s on the wall only tell part of the story.
Part of that history over the last six seasons has been the Soo Eagles. Change has come for the team in the form of ownership and coaching a few years ago, to a change in leagues. Now, the Eagles and the Pullar will experience a little more change together.
Updates and renovations are well under way at the Pullar. New boards, new glass, new player benches and a new ceiling will all improve the player and fan experience on game night.
Another big change that everyone will notice right away is when the enter the Pullar lobby, you will not be able to enter the arena right from the lobby area and you will have a clear view into the arena. This will also allow for much easier access to those fans with any disability.
The improvements don’t end with facility upgrades, and improved playing facilities though.
This season the Eagles will be in charge of concessions as well. A stream lined order and pickup process will be in place so that everyone can enjoy their world famous Pullar Burgers in an expedited manner. Plans are also in place to bring concession items directly to fans while in their seats so you wont have to miss a minute of the action.
As the Eagles get ready to open main training camp next Friday, the 2014-2015 version of this club will have a new look and feel in nearly every way.
