Hey kids, hope you all had a blast over the holidays. Yeah thats right the Angel of Death is back to work after warming my bones in sunny Florida. That reminds me of a line from the movie Slap Shot, how did that go again? HA HA HA
But hey while I was gone it looks like people didnt stop being naughty. Not that I care, the naughty ones will always screw a bunch of people before they go out of business.
And I was worried I wouldnt have something juicy to write about! But thanks to the New Mexico Renegades we have a great topic.
So, Tier III hockey players pay to play. Pretty simple, you pay, you play. But what happens when you pay, and change your mind before you even get a chance to play? Well kids you get screwed!
Yep, the team says gimmie your money and we’ll give you a spot. But when the kid changes his mind because he thinks living conditions are a train wreck and he was lied to about the team amenaties and how good the team would be.
So the kid and his parents change their minds. Smart people when they dont receive what they pay for usually ask for their money back. This is what these people did. What does the team do? Yep, sorry kid and parents your screwed.
Even when other higher ups get involved they only get other money for equipment deposits and a showcase returned. Awsome right?!
Thats right kids this is the same team that took any player they could get in order to put a team on the ice and its the same team with the leagues worst record of 3-22-0.
What do ya say about that Ron Burgundy? I say hand me another scotch because they must be to drunk to be smart. Scotchy Scotchy Scotch.
But hey, some teams always find ways to survive, even those that should be killed off and may be on life support. Reminds me of another movie…
What are my chances? Not good.
You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?
I’d say more like one out of a million.
So you’re telling me there’s a chance… *YEAH!*
