Ummmmmmm yeah. The “path to the NAHL” might just have a few stones on it and a few tree roots sticking up to trip some people.
The NA3HL has recently had some issues with one team not being able to ice enough players to play their games. You know, cause things like players getting sick and injured can effect your lineup. Other things like players just up and quitting in the middle of the night might just effect your roster too.
Those things, in my book anyway, are things the coach cant control. Especially when its past the trade and roster freeze deadline and players cant be added.
So, what happens next? The NA3HL basically threatens the Owner to take his franchise away. Not only do they make the treat to the Owner, but they tell this to someone else in the league who goes ahead and tells the local press. That’s just priceless.
The team is brutal, but its pretty messed up when you threaten to take some one’s investment away because things happen beyond his control. What would happen if the ice arena closed?
The best part…….The team is about to be sold. Yep, new ownership almost ready to take over for next year. Now, maybe the sale doesn’t happen, maybe it does.
Speaking of sales. Looks like there might be as many as six NA3HL teams for sale now. Even after the Long Beach Sharks were just sold. I wonder why people would be looking to sell these sparkling gems of business opportunities?
Hmmmmm makes me remember an email I received. Someone sent me an email called the “Market Correction Coming”. All it did was describe what someone thought might take place between 2017 and 2019 concerning Tier III hockey.
Crazy as it may seem, someone is predicting a massive shift back to Midget AAA and a severe loss of Tier III programs. Why? Well shit, it turns out that the myth that 16 and 17 year old players will develop better at Tier III being preached by some people, is actually bullshit! Can you believe it?
Maybe all those USHL and NAHL draft picks coming from AAA and not Tier III have something to do with it? Naaaaahhhhhh no one looks at those stupid draft results. That’s just nonsense to think that people would actually research shit.
