I do have a little bit of news that is a little difficult for me to bring up.
Ummmmm yeah, well not quite sure how to tell you Mr. Jones, but that jersey you bought on the auction site, yeah, the one that we said was game worn by Wayne Gretzky, yeah well he never played for us. In fact, he actually hasn’t played in almost two decades.
For those of you who forgot, the London Knights were accused of fraud. Here is a reminder.

That case was later settled out of court. Imagine that. No one I know settles anything out of court when they are innocent of every charge. It just doesn’t happen.
But uht oh. When the shit storm hits, people usually get splattered by some. And it is beginning to look like this shit storm is going to get some people pretty dirty.
See, it turns out that when the first story broke, more people began to question whether or not what they purchased was real. Yeah, as you can guess, that’s not good news for the old London Knights.
Turns out three memorabilia collectors are now making allegations and ummm yeah, this shit gets pretty deep if all are to be believed.
See a little news paper called the Toronto Star has been doing an ongoing investigation. Those pesky little investigative reporters tend to dig up some good shit. Read here for their story.
The best part of this though is one of the collectors is a former employee! Ohhhhh yeah, and the former employee details how they make the fake jerseys!
Yeah, probably not a good idea to scam the former employee there boys. But hey, its not like they can research on line who did and did not play for the team in any given season. Ohhhhh shit, you mean they have the internet in Canada? Yeah well maybe they can research that stuff.
This is an embarrassment of epic proportion. What’s crazy is no one is facing criminal charges. I mean fraud is fraud right? You know, like getting money under false pretense is a crime in the United States. Maybe its just ok in Canada.
Oh well, I guess, I will just have to see if my Connor Mc David London Knights game worn jersey is authentic or not.
