Wow, its been a busy week boys and girls. Following up on all kinds of stories this week, and still trying my best to kill off some teams at the same time. Its back breaking work I tell ya!
But hey, everyone remembers our earlier reports on Brandon Vuic don’t you? No? Well this players is easily forgotton because he hasn’t done anything on the ice of note other than fight. Yeah, I know, we are all sad to see these dummies go aren’t we?! I don’t think so.
So anyway, big bad Brandon Vuic was charged a while ago with possession of cocaine after being charged with drunk driving and getting into an accident. The cocaine charges came later because they had to send the stuff out for testing.
But in a strange turn of events, Vuic plead guilty to the cocaine charges this week, before going on trial for the DUI charges which have been postponed until April of 2016. That’s right kids the trial has been postponed until April 2016!
Why has it been postponed? So this idiot can pursue a paycheck in the minor pro leagues of the SPHL and FHL most likely.
But it gets better! This idiot also got a conditional discharge on the cocaine charge! This means he will have no record as long as he stays out of trouble for a year!
So yeah, lets back this up. This kid gets busted drunk driving, hitting a parked car, and when walking away he drops a bag of cocaine and now he gets no record? How messed up is shit in Ontario?
The reason the DUI trial was delayed and he gets off scot free on the cocaine charge? His attorney says Vuic is still playing hockey and a criminal conviction could prevent him from getting into the United States. Unfortunately the attorney probably forgot to inform the judge that his client just got cut about three weeks ago from the ECHL.
That’s right kids, anything to enable the going nowhere, doing nothing, fighter who wants to get paid in some low level league in another country! Sounds like “justice” to me! What a joke.
So lets all raise a glass and toast Brandon Vuic and his attorney on their continued success. Well all of us except Brandon, he is not supposed to be drinking, and we would hate to se a straw get jammed up someone’s nose on accident!
