A day off? Yep, I took a day off yesterday. Sat on my ass, did a little homework, and watched some videos.
One video though was priceless. At first I thought this was a SNL skit reminiscent of Chris Farley stomping in a living room. So utterly stupid that you couldn’t believe it actually happened.
But then……
The Coach talks about players sticking their hands up their opponents asses? Could this be true? You tell me….
Ok, so once you get beyond how ridiculously funny this thing is. You got to realize this was a speech made to Bantam A level players! Seriously.
Whats the association say?
“I was made aware of this situation in October through an email with what others believed was said from outside the locker room. Upon review, I immediately suspended the assistant coach. He was very embarrassed and issued a letter of apology to the opposing team and apologized to his team.” the association’s official statement, written by Brian TenEyck, read.
Ok. So this guy, who is not being named yet, is probably going to get an ass load of offers to join comedy workshops, or get hired as a junior hockey coach.
Yes indeed. Sometimes, its just fun to open your emails in the morning. You never know what you might read or see.
Speaking of emails. How about the referee’s walking off of a game in progress between the Tri City Icehawks and Decatur Blaze over the weekend? Yep. We don’t have video yet, but if anyone has some I would love to see it. You know, like Tri City’s owners on the ice going just a little bonkers with the referee’s.
Stick around everyone. Reports are we got at least one more team folding or “merging” this week. Yep. Looks like all those replacement players from Midget teams have been reading our stories here are aren’t putting up with the bullshit any more.
