The CPJHL took another step forward the other day and mercifully killed off the Madawaska Valley Falcons.
A step forward? Yep. A step forward because in the course of killing off the team they actually gave a reason for it. Wait for it…..
“The Falcons have some good players, but simply weren’t competitive enough for our league to see the players properly develop,” said CPJHL president Stephane Laveault.
Yeah, that’s right. A league actually came out and said the team wasn’t competitive enough?!?! Are you kidding me? Like some real honesty from a league executive? Holy shit moms and dads!
Note to the GMHL and NA3HL…..
Follow the example of the CPJHL and stop chasing the expansion franchise fee’s with your shit show teams. Yeah, that’s right, I put the NA3HL in the same category as the GMHL for this story.
Its a beautiful Saturday morning isn’t it? Hope all you guys on those teams who hope to have enough players to take the ice each weekend decide to take control of your future and walk away for your own good.
