Good Tuesday morning kids. Looks like we got ourselves another one. Sneaky sneaky boys and girls. I am tellin ya, these teams an leagues simply don’t want to inform people of their screw ups. But hey, we got a dedicated group of readers, and this one comes from another reader tip off over the weekend.
So yeah, the Florida Bulldogs mysteriously vanished from the USPHL Elite schedule over the last few days. Crazy isn’t it?
Turns out, the Bulldogs showed up to play a game on September 13th, with a total of 10 skaters and two goalies! Now everyone is wondering what happened because this is the same Bulldogs team that was reporting 22 players as being protected!
Maybe the 8 to 2 ass kicking they took from the Palm Beach Hawks on the 13th made those 10 players say “the hell with this”? But you still have to wonder what happened to those 22 players that were protected and how they could only show up with 10 skaters don’t you?
Suddenly the USA Hockey protected listed have them having zero players! Did 22 player go missing in the last week or so? Someone put out an all points bulletin for these kids!
Seriously, what the hell is any team owner or coach thinking taking 10 skaters and 2 goalies to a game? Why even bother? Why not do the right thing and release the players instead of risking injury? Nahhhhhh that would mean you would have to admit you screwed up, and we cant have that.
So, for those of you keeping score, that brings our total of teams folded up to 15 so far. Last year we had 17, and we are looking to break that record. Look for updates on the death watch list starting tomorrow!
