Hey kids, its me like Slim Shady I am back again for a double dose of The Death Pool. Yeah I know you cant get enough of this can you? I am just laughing my ass off at this stuff.
For the last two weeks I have been telling you all to watch the USA Hockey protected lists to see who was reporting, who wasn’t reporting, and who was reporting ridiculously low player numbers. Well guess what kids, numbers, as usual don’t freakin lie!
Well, the NPHL, or NorPac as its been known has finally pulled the plug on the Tacoma Knights! Funny how a team that didn’t file a protected list folds the day before their season is supposed to start.
Now, the entire league, ummmmm yeah, well seven teams allegedly anyway, have to completely re-do their schedules.
Blaming a late coaching change on the failure to launch is not something people are going to buy here boys. How about telling the truth that no one wanted to go there? Better yet how about admitting the league shouldn’t have expanded? Or as a third option how about telling the truth about how there is a players shortage at the Tier III level this year because of irresponsible over expansion by Tier III hockey?
Nahhhhhhh that would make too much sense and who really needs to make sense or tell the truth when you can grasp at the straw that is the “late coaching change”?
Don’t you just love this clown car that is Tier III hockey these days? How many more clowns are going to climb out of the car in the next week or so? Instead of red noses you got completely red faces.
Looks like the week may be heating up kids. Usually on Thursdays I am looking forward to a weekend of watching games this time of year, now it looks like I have to keep a closer eye on the Intensive Care Units!
