When it comes to shit show teams, there are two leagues that really set the standard for “shit” in shit show. The “G” show or GMHL, and the “3” show of NA3HL.
Both of these leagues have zero credibility today when they continue to put absolute garbage on the ice. Clearly both leagues are only in the business to make money and have next to zero concern for actual quality of the product they are trying to call “junior” hockey.
Anyone who says the following programs are legitimate “junior” hockey teams is either paid by the team or doesn’t know their ass from a hat.
NA3HL Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts are an embarrassment since inception. Losing the first two games of the season 22 to ZERO. That’s right 22 to ZERO. But hey, they had enough bodies to play. Embarassing.
GMHL London Lakers. Seriously, this team is still around? Losing the first three games of season by a score of 49 to 6. What else can we say that the coach doesn’t say on the internet. Most of these kids have never played hockey with contact! Seriously? And you want to call this shit “junior” hockey?
NA3HL Wisconsin Whalers were brought back to life simply to spite us for pronouncing them dead. Should have stayed dead boys, your a damn embarrassment.
GMHL Ottawa Sharpshooters. Same shit show new league. Team is operated like a freakin lemonade stand and they play like it losing the first three games by a score of 27 to 4. Defensive systems are freakin awesome boys.
NA3HL College Station Spirit. How is this team even allowed to continue. Come to think of it, how is this team even allowed on the ice? First two games lost by a score of 15 to 2. Classy organization there boys.
Lets not forget the NA3HL’s Rochester Grizzlies, Bute Cobras, Yellowstone Quake, and the rest of the league for not voting all of these teams out. Seriously, the whole NA3HL should be ashamed of itself for not insisting on quality control.
We will have more on the G teams who have yet to play. Since a whole bunch of them cant put a team on the ice yet. Stick around as we see how long many of these teams can hang on by the thread they are on.
