When coaches are looking for that one stay at home, shot blocking defenseman who has learned to control his gaps, James Sauer can fill that role. The former Pilot Mound defenseman elevated his game to the Junior A level in his first year of junior with the SIJHL’s Ironwood Lumberjacks in the 2024-2025 season.
James will look to elevate once again for the 2025-2026 season as he looks to the NAHL or NCDC for opportunities to continue to develop and grow as a potential NCAA student athlete.
