Tuesday Highlights: Torrance scores OT winner as Gens prevail in Kitchener

Oshawa Generals 4 at Kitchener Rangers 3 OT

  • Luke Torrance secured victory for the Generals in OT, scoring his 20th of the season off a nice setup by defenceman Andrew Gibson.
  • Harrison Franssen opened the scoring for the Gens early in the first period, then Beckett Sennecke and Brooks Rogowski potted one each to take control of the game.
  • Trent Swick potted two for the Rangers, including the game-tying goal with less than two minutes remaining in the third period.
  • Jacob Oster made 19 saves for the win opposite Jackson Parsons, who made 27 saves on 31 shots in the loss.
  • Oshawa has won five of six, improving to 32-15-3-2 to sit tied atop the Eastern Conference with Barrie.
