For those of you interested in helping a team of players from Ukraine, our equipment drive is entering the final stretch.
I will be taking equipment to Poland for distribution to a group of 16- and 17-year-old players. I will be departing on the 17th of October with the equipment scheduled to be in their hands by the 21st of October.
While we are receiving donations from individuals, teams, and non-profit organizations, more can still be done.
As our seasons have begun, it is my hope that we can allow these players to simply have a season. For some it may be their last. Once turning 18 some may be required to return to Ukraine and fight.
