USHL Has Record-Setting 2014 NHL Draft

35 players from 2013-14 USHL season chosen by NHL teams

It was a record weekend for the USHL at the 2014 NHL Draft in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a total of 35 players that appeared in the USHL during the 2013-14 season had their names called by NHL team.  It was the most USHL players selected in a single year, surpassing the mark of 32 from last year.

Four players were chosen in the first round on Friday night, making it 10 consecutive seasons that at least one USHL player has been picked in the first round.

Additionally, 16 players who previously competed in the USHL were chosen in the 2014 NHL Draft.
