USHL’s Bloomington Thunder Offer Money Back Guarantee

When your confident in your product you stand behind it.  Well the newly minted USHL Bloomington Thunder did just that at their inaugural press conference yesterday.

Gary Gelinas has never been one to mince words, and he was very direct in saying;

“It’s a tremendous product, so much so that we’re giving everybody a money back guarantee.”  “If you don’t like our product after two games I’ll refund 100 percent of the balance of your money that’s on season tickets. I know you’re going to like it.”

Consolidated Sports Holdings now features entries in the WHL, USHL, NAHL, and NA3HL.  While not a major league baseball franchise CSH’s properties could easily be seen in a similar light.  Recruiting for every level and developing through every level is now possible.  It is the first organization of its kind to have this ability to our knowledge when it comes to junior hockey.

Newly promoted from the NAHL Head Coach Dennis Williams fully expects Bloomington can become a breeding ground for future NCAA and NHL players.

“We’re here to move players on to college hockey and we want to be the best at it,” said Williams. “We want this to be an avenue for future NHLers and a place they can call home.”

By all accounts, the ownership, management and coaching staff of the Thunder are confident this new brand of hockey in Bloomington will be a success.  Measuring the turn out from fans, that would seem to indicate a successful launch as well.

When you make a money back guarantee on your first day, your either have a solid plan or your going to be giving a lot of money back to fans.  Based on the CSH track record, its unlikely anyone will be looking for a refund.
