The Tampa Bay Juniors have bid a fond farewell to one of their top players of the first half of 2024-25. General Manager/Head Coach Garrett Strot does not expect to see Jakub Koudelny back in the TBJ lineup.
And that’s a good thing, because it means the NCDC team that brought him in for a call-up – the Idaho Falls Spud Kings – have made the decision to sign Koudelny after he posted assists in three straight games out of the four he’s played since Dec. 13. The ’04 from Ostravia, Czechia, had 28 points in 17 games with the Tampa Bay Juniors prior to his NCDC call-up, all of his offense in both leagues coming in his first North American hockey season.
Koudelny is just one of 95 Premier players who have also seen time up at the NCDC so far in 2024-25!
“Jakub was a tremendous player for us both on and off the ice,” said Strot. “His skill and positive attitude will make him an impact with Idaho Falls.”
