Forward: Dylan Davis, Fort Wayne Spacemen
The local ‘06 product from Fort Wayne has been a great producer early on for the Spacemen Elite squad. Recently, over a three-game stretch of wins, he put up a pair of assists against the Metro Jets, and two games later, posted a hat trick and assist, including the GWG, against the Chicago Crush. These were his first six points early in his five-game junior career thus far.
Defense: Trace Girgis, Chicago Crush
Girgis (‘06/Woodridge, Ill.) helped his Crush Elite team outshoot the Fort Wayne Spacemen over two games, while also posting a pair of assists, and the Crush were able to get a point out of the 4-1 Spacemen. He currently has four assists over six games.
Goaltender: Brendan Kusbel, Fort Wayne Spacemen
Kusbel (‘05/Mount Pleasant, Mich.) added two more wins to a current 3-0 record by stopping 83 of 86 shots recently. His best was a 48-save performance in a 3-2 overtime victory against the Metro Jets and then he stopped 35 of 39 in a 6-4 win on Oct. 16. He boasts a .942 save percentage and 2.42 GAA.
