Forwards
Sean Boltin, Palm Beach Typhoon
He has really started to make it look easy, especially after posting back-to-back hat tricks during the month of November. The ‘05 out of Chicago tore through five November games putting up a points total that would’ve been impressive even if it had been 10 contests – nine goals and three assists for 12 points! The big month helped push him to sixth place in league scoring with 16 goals and 29 points through 17 games. His back-to-back tricks took place Nov. 12 and 13 against the Florida Eels and Tampa Bay Juniors, and each carried an assist with it, and he carries his 9-3-12 streak through four games into December’s action.
Robert Sheets, Tampa Bay Juniors
“Holy Sheets” has become Juniors broadcaster Christian Adams’ favorite new call, and he called it plenty in November, as Sheets was a goal-per-game performer for the Juniors. He put up six goals in six games and added five assists for 11 points, good for a 1.83 points per game average. He scored goals in four straight games to end November and then added one in his first December game for good measure, extending his scoring streak from all of November plus Dec. 1 to seven games. Sheets is an ‘05 originally from Scottsdale, Ariz., who played for Tampa’s Jesuit High School and the Clearwater Ice Storm before the Juniors
Cooper Lundberg, Atlanta MadHatters
A first-year MadHatter out of the prestigious Nashville Jr. Predators AAA program, Lundberg led the division in assists, with eight helpers in the eight November games. He added three goals for 11 points on the month, good for a very impressive 1.38 points per game in November. He ended his November action with a five-point game against the Tampa Bay Juniors. He also scored five points in his first December action! Overall, Lundberg leads the MadHatters with 29 points in 20 games.
Defensemen
Jachym Cermak, Florida Eels
Cermak helped the Eels finish November with a 3-1-0-1 record as they pushed to within two points of the leading Tampa Bay Juniors. The ‘02 from Czechia has been a massive standby for the Eels from Day 1 with the team. He plays a very impressive two-way game, posting a 2-4-6 line in five games over November along with remaining even on the plus-minus side. Overall, he has 14 points through 16 games in this, his first North American season.
Elijah White, Columbia Infantry
The Infantry didn’t see very much action on the USPHL frozen battlefields in November, but when they were out there, Elijah White was very often a leader towards a 2-1-0-1 month. The ‘05 blueliner from Birmingham, Ala., posted a 2-4-6 line in four games, and stayed even on the plus-minus side as well. He now stands with 12 points in 19 games with Columbia.
Goaltender
Dylan Bruce, Tampa Bay Juniors
The Juniors stayed at the top of the Florida Elite Division thanks to a very productive 5-1-0-0 November. Backstopping this push for the top was the ‘05 from Kitchener, Ont., who went 3-0-0-0 last month. Bruce faced 106 shots on the month and turned away 99 of them. He stopped 32 twice in a row for wins and then finished with 35 saves in his third win of the month. Overall, Bruce is ranked ninth in save percentage at .921 and stands 6-3-0-1 overall on the season.
