USPHL Elite Players Of The Month – November 2022: Mid-Atlantic Division

Forwards

Edward Kienzle, New York Aviators 

In his third year with the Aviators, left wing Edward Kienzle (‘05/Brooklyn, N.Y.) played seven games last month, bringing his all for every shift. His percentage for faceoffs in November was 66 percent, going 42 for 64. Kienzle also racked up 13 points for the month, from four goals and nine assists, and he now averages 1.86 points per game.

 

Michael McGowan, New York Aviators

In his first year with the elite team, right wing McGowan (‘03/Brooklyn, N.Y.) has boosted the Aviators’ offense alongside teammate Kienzle. Playing seven games in November, McGowan accumulated 11 total points off eight goals and three assists. He averaged 1.57 points per game last month.

 

Eric McHale, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

McHale (‘05/Maple Shade, N.J.) of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights is second in scoring after a great month. After playing four games, he had posted a 4-4-8 line, averaging 2.00 points per game. Overall, he has 23 points through 18 games on the season.

Defensemen

Anthony Crescimanni, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders

In his first Elite year, defenseman Anthony Crescimanni (‘05/Syosset, N.Y.) had an impressive month. With a total of eight games played, he totaled up six points (three goals and three
assists) for an average of .75 points per game. The first-year Islanders remain a contender in the division at 11-10-3-0.

 

Michael Wilson, Jersey Hitmen

Wilson (’05/Westfield, N.J.) is a first-year Hitman and he has certainly been a boon to the squad. In seven games played, Wilson posted an 0-5-5 line for a .71 points per game. Defensively, he also had 11 blocked shots, and six hits. He has 12 points in 22 games this year.

 

Goaltender

Michael Grima, Rockets Hockey Club 

The goaltender who has been on fire this month is Michael Grima (’03/Staten Island, N.Y.) of the Rockets Hockey Club. Grima had a monthly 2.25 GAA, and he played 240 minutes, one of the highest totals for any Elite goalie in November. The Staten Island native made 143 saves on 152 shots (.941) and has had two shutouts last month.
