Hitmen Classic Is The Only Event To Feature NCDC, Premier, Elite Conferences
Every October, as the trees in the Northeastern U.S. are putting on an art show, the USPHL Jersey Hitmen Classic puts on its own show to rival anything on nearby Broadway in New York City. Teams from the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite will come together for this highlight event of every year on the USPHL calendar. This year’s Classic will run Oct. 17-22 at the Ice Vault in Wayne, N.J., a three-sheet arena featuring a full-service restaurant, lounge and pro shop all on site.
The USPHL Jersey Hitmen Classic this year serves as the second of three NCDC Showcase Series events, and the first on the East Coast. The showcase will feature all 15 NCDC New England and Atlantic Division teams in action, providing NCAA scouts from across the country a chance to recruit some outstanding players who will impact their programs. Last year, there were 212 NCAA commitments from NCDC players and alumni. These alumni accomplish great things when they get to campus, as more than 40 NCDC alumni earned individual and team honors at the NCAA Division I level alone during the 2023-24 season.
Visiting college coaches will also see competition amongst teams from five of the 10 USPHL Premier divisions, as well as teams representing the USPHL Elite’s Southeast and Atlantic divisions.
Together, the NCDC, the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite saw more than 600 college commitments from the 2023-24 season.
