Forward: Ugo Lollier, Metro Jets
Lollier (‘03/Rouen, France) put up nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points in a monstrous January, in which the Jets played 10 games. Lollier, a second-year Jet, is closing in on not just doubling but tripling his 2023-24 output, he’s at 66 points after posting 23 last year. He was also a +19 for the month of January, good for second on the Jets and first among the forwards.
Forward: Carson Finney, Metro Jets
Also helping the Jets to a big month was the ‘03 from Holt, Mich., a third-year Jets organizational player who put up eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in January, giving him an exactly 2.0 points per game average for the Jets’ 10-game month. Finney started out in 2021-22 with the Metro Jets Development Program and moved to the Jets in 2022-23, scoring 35 points. He’s scored nearly 30 more points this year than last, giving him 61 points for this season. He also has 138 points in 120 career Premier regular season games.
Forward: Khyle Flynn, Nashville Spartans
Flynn (‘03/East Wenatchee, Wash.) had some very big games en route to posting a 2-18-20 line in 10 games for January. This included single game performances of five and four points along the way. Flynn is a second-year Premier player who scored 44 points last year and has zoomed past that already by posting 73 points in 36 games, more than a 2.00 points per game average for his full season so far.
Defense: Austin Micale, Nashville Spartans
Micale (‘03/Hamilton, N.J.) remained one of the league’s top scoring defensemen after January, putting up a 7-14-21 line in 10 games as the Spartans continue to joust for the Great Lakes Division lead. Micale now has 26 goals and 70 points in 39 games, good for a tie for second in the league among blueliners. He’s also on the ice for 24:23 per game on average.
Defense: Sean Karaman, Nashville Spartans
The Spartans struck gold when they acquired Karaman from the NCDC affiliate Provo Predators. The local product from Brentwood, Tenn., jumped right in and produced eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in eight games, averaging 18:49 per game. During his 13 games so far in the Premier, he has 25 points.
Goaltender: Austin Nowak, Toledo Cherokee
Nowak was huge in keeping the Cherokee close in the top three pack of the Great Lakes Division. During his 303 minutes of action, he stopped 151 of 160 shots for a .944 save percentage, a 1.78 GAA and a 3-2-0-0 record. He started 2024 with a 29-save shutout of Tampa Bay at the USPHL Tampa Showcase, and ended the month with a 21-save blanking of the Chicago Cougars. He is 10-5-0-0 for the season with a .921 save percentage.
