Forward: Tyler Hanson, Rogue Valley Royals
Hanson (‘03/Medford, Ore.) has hit the 120-point mark for his second season of playing with the Royals, putting up a 5-7-12 line in seven games, which included a run of 3-3-6 in the four games at the USPHL Las Vegas Showcase. He has 50 points for this season after registering a 70-point mark last year. The 2022-23 USPHL Premier Northwest Division All-Star had also previously played in the USPHL Premier in 2020-21, so he has 141 points in 94 games.
Forward: Seth Morris, Seattle Totems
With a 7-5-12 line over nine games in December, Morris (‘06/Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) rose to become No. 2 on the Totems scoring leaderboard for the season with 32 points in 26 games for this year. He was the No. 1 forward tapped for duty, leading all Totems forwards in ice time in December at 19:46 per game. He also won 136 of 221 draws in December for a 62 percent success rate, in addition to also leading the Totems forwards in blocked shots with six. He started December with a hat trick on Dec. 1 against Bellingham, part of a 7-5-12 month in nine games.
Forward: Trevor Loucks, Seattle Totems
Loucks (‘03/Marysville, Wash.) is a third-year Premier forward who has already equaled his 42-game output of 2022-23 with 35 points through just 27 games this season. For December, he had a 2-9-11 line, with all of those points coming as part of a seven-game point streak that stretched from Nov. 22 to the USPHL Las Vegas Showcase on Nov. 17.
Defense: Peter Konopka, Seattle Totems
Konopka (‘03/Kalispell, Mont.) had himself his best month of the season to date, putting up a 2-7-9 line in just nine games to improve to 17 points on the season, following on the heels of his 35-point Northwest Division All-Star season in 2022-23. He also led the Totems in plus-minus at +6 and in blocked shots with 15.
Defense: Michael Karvelas, Seattle Totems
Karvelas (‘04/Pasadena, Calif.) matched his fellow Totems blueliner point-for-point in December, also posting nine through nine games (with a 3-6-9) line. Karvelas has put together 22 points in 28 games in this, his rookie junior season. Karvelas led the Totems with 25:02 of ice time per game, and was second on the team with a +5 and 12 blocked shots.
Goaltender: Rahul Sharma, Bellingham Blazers
Sharma (‘03/Delta, B.C.) played in 211 minutes for the Blazers and, although Bellingham was only able to take advantage of Sharma’s performances to the tune of one victory, he had far and away the best save percentage of any Northwest goalie in December at .940. He stopped 141 saves on 150 shots, including stopping 56 of 57 shots against the Casper Roughnecks. He also stopped 20 of 20 against the Long Beach Shredders during the USPHL Las Vegas Showcase.
