Forward: Siamion Marshchanok, Potomac Patriots
Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) remains the leading scorer of the USPHL Premier, posting 73 points in just 22 games through half the season so far. He has never been held scoreless this season and only seemed to be heating up as the month ended, posting four points three times, five twice and seven in the final game of six in which he put up four or better points. In total, he posted nine goals and 20 assists for 29 points in six games. His 4.83 points per game in November were a league high, and his 2.41 career points per average is fifth best in USPHL Premier history among players with more than one season. He and twin brother Matsvei were announced as signing 2024-25 tenders with the NCDC’s Pueblo Bulls earlier this season.
Forward: Matsvei Marshchanok, Potomac Patriots
Siamion’s twin brother Matsvei was very close in terms of being up near the leaderboard for points per game in November, as he registered 3.67 points per game (a 10-12-22 line in six contests). He and Siamion both took 30 shots on goal, and Matsvei was able to lead the way with 30 percent in shooting percentage. With 71 points in 33 career games, he has averaged better than two points per game in his career alongside his brother and has scored points in 19 of the 22 games this season.
Forward: Jared Weisert, Charlotte Rush
After enjoying success with the Ogden Mustangs last year in the Premier, Weisert made the move to Charlotte and has blown away even his impressive first year pace when he posted 48 points in 50 games. So far, through just 20 games this year, he has put up 35 points. He registered a goal and six assists for seven points in the Rush’s rather quiet November of just four games. Similar to his fellow forwards of the month, Weisert has scored in nearly every game this year, missing the scoresheet only once. He enters December on a 4-17-21 streak over his last 11 games. He is also on a six-game assist streak with 10 helpers in that stretch.
Defense: Peter Keese, Charlotte Rush
Keese just gets better every game it seems, as his five years of Premier experience shows. The second-year Rush Keese (‘03/Minnetonka, Minn.) put up a goal and five assists for six points in four games in November. He led the Rush in average ice time this past month, and he posted seven blocked shots as Charlotte faced heavy hitters Potomac and Carolina in their limited schedule last month.
Defense: Loik Plouffe, Richmond Generals
Plouffe (‘04/Gatineau, Que.) was superb for the Generals, who went 2-2 during the month of November. He registered six assists and entered December on a four-game assist streak. He led the Generals with 24:55 of ice time per game and his +6 was tied for the team lead, as were his 22 shots on goal – helping to push the Richmond offense as well.
Goaltender: Liam Lane, Hampton Roads Whalers
Like many teams in the Southeast Division, the Whalers took a lighter November schedule after being busy in September and October. They were still fully locked in and went 2-1-0-1 during the month, with Lane (‘04/Denver, Colo.) helping them earn three of their five points. On Nov. 4, he got a win against Virginia in-state rivals the Richmond Generals with 42 saves on 46 shots. He then pushed Carolina, a top 10 team in the Premier, to the shootout with 48 saves on 50 shots during the 65 minutes of play. He currently stands at 2-2-0-2 with a .928 save percentage and a 2.56 goals against average.
