Northwest Division
Forward: Andras Kehl, Rogue Valley Royals
Kehl (‘03/Budapest, Hungary) registered not one but two consecutive overtime game-winning goals, helping the Royals defeat the Lake Tahoe Lakers on both Friday and Saturday of last week. He also had an additional goal on Dec. 9. In his second junior season overall, he has 18 goals and nine assists for 27 points in 25 games.
Defense: Kobe Hryhor, Rogue Valley Royals
Hryhor (‘03/Saskatoon, Sask.) had a fantastic first three games with his new team after being acquired from the Long Beach Shredders. He put up five assists including three in his first game with his new squad. He also had four blocks and was a +2, tied for second on the team. For the season, Hryhor has 17 points in 22 games.
Goaltender: Rahul Sharma, Bellingham Blazers
Sharma (‘03/Delta, B.C.) was oh-so-close as the Blazers fell by a 1-0 score to the Casper Roughnecks, but Sharma was heroic in his attempt to make it a different outcome. He stopped 56 saves on 57 shots for his team. With that performance, Sharma cracked the top 10 of the USPHL Premier for save percentage with his .936 mark, good for ninth.
Pacific Division
Forward: Yegor Kabataev, Fresno Monsters
Kabataev (‘03/Karaganda, Kazakhstan) racked up two goals and added four assists for six points in their three-game series that saw them go 2-1 against Bakersfield. In his first North American season, he has 37 points in 18 contests.
Defense: Carver Alford, Lake Tahoe Lakers
Alford (‘05/Lake Tahoe, Calif.) registered 2-3-5 in his most recent three games for the Lakers, out of nine games played so far since his acquisition from Las Vegas. Alford was a +1 with two blocked shots for the weekend. Overall, he has registered 12 points in 15 games.
Goaltender: Ethan Jourden, Fresno Monsters
The second-year Monster Jourden (‘04/Arnold, Mo.) earned both wins for the Monsters in their series against Bakersfield, stopping 47 of 48 shots. This included a 24-save shutout on Dec. 7. He improved to 11-0-1-0 on the season – no one else has played as many games without a regulation loss.
