Forward: Augie Ashley, Tampa Bay Juniors
Ashley (‘04/Falmouth, N.S.) was extremely generous all season, putting up 40 assists in 42 games, in addition to sending home 25 goals for the division-leading Juniors. He registered 1.55 points per game, the best average for any player who skated in at least 30 games this past season. Ashley has scored eight points in 10 career playoff games, helping the Juniors to the 2025 Nationals. He was a member of the Southeast/Florida All-Star team in January at Foxboro, Mass., as well.
Forward: Jason Johnson, Tampa Bay Juniors
Johnson was the Juniors’ (and the whole Florida Division’s) goal-scoring leader with 32 goals this season, which helped to earn him an NCDC tender with the Islanders Hockey Club. Johnson also added 24 assists for 56 points in 41 games. The 2006-born, Minnetonka, Minn., native scored eight points in seven career playoff games.
Forward: Sebastian Elrod, Bold City Battalion
Elrod (‘04/Virginia Beach, Va.) scored 23 goals and added 29 assists for 52 points, and a points per game average of 1.30. Elrod was also selected as a member of the Southeast/Florida All-Star Team for the USPHL Premier All-Star Event in Massachusetts in January, where he registered two assists. Elrod hit exactly the 100-point career mark to close his last junior regular season. He also has seven points in nine career playoff games, including helping the Battalion to the 2024 Nationals.
Defenseman: Aki Jokela, Tampa Bay Juniors
Jokela (‘04/Pori, Finland) joined in November from the NAHL and was an immediate pacesetter for the Juniors’ defense, who saw a division-best 2.57 goals against per game. Offensively, he registered 25 points in 27 games, for an average of 0.93 points per game. In the playoffs, he added four points in seven games.
Defenseman: Emil Grinsvall, Bold City Battalion
A Florida Division All-Star last year as well, Grinsvall (‘04/Goteborg, Sweden) returns to the postseason honor roll in 2024-25. Grinsvall repeated the 41-point season he had in 2023-24, and did it in five less games this season. He posted a 10-31-41 line in 37 games, for a 1.11 points per game average. He represented Bold City at the 2025 USPHL Premier All-Star Event, posting an assist in two games with the Southeast/Florida All-Stars. He finished his regular season career with 82 points in 79 games. He had 11 points in 10 career playoff games, including a trip to the 2024 Nationals.
Goaltender: Russ Decoste, Florida Eels
Decoste (‘05/Halifax, N.S.) was the Florida Division leader in both goals against average at 2.02 and save percentage at .931. He finished 13-7-1-2, and was also a member of the Southeast/Florida All-Stars at the Premier All-Star Event in Massachusetts. There, he stopped all 26 shots he faced and earned a huge win in the battle of undefeated teams against the New England/Atlantic All-Stars to help the team go 2-0.
Selection Process: Coaches in the division first nominate players, and then vote on these nominations. If there are ties in positions, there is an additional run-off vote. Coaches are presented with the finalists and given more than 24 hours to make changes if the majority votes to do so. If there are no challenges to the finalists, they are named as the All-Division Team.
