Southeast Division
Forward: Hayden Barr, Hampton Roads Whalers
Barr (‘04/Edmonton, Alb.) scored three goals and added one assist during the Whalers’ trip to face the New Jersey Hitmen. He finished with 49 points in 42 games for this, his first USPHL season after two seasons in the KIJHL.
Defense: Marshall Beaker, Charlotte Rush
A USPHL Premier All-Stars selection, Beaker (‘04/Brighton, Mich.) was powerful during the Rush’s series against their in-state rivals the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes with two goals and two assists for four points. Joining from the NCDC in November, Beaker finished with 23 points in 24 games, and he also scored a goal at the All-Star event in January.
Goaltender: Rocco Stolz, Charlotte Rush
A third-year USPHL veteran, Stolz (‘04/Rochester, Mich.) stopped all 35 shots he faced against Carolina on Feb. 22, and he finished his regular season career with a 33-6-4-2 record and a .933 save percentage.
Florida Division
Forward: Onni Puikkonen, Tampa Bay Juniors
Puikkonen (‘05/Tampere, Finland) broke out for five goals and added one assist during the Juniors’ series against Atlanta, including a 3-1-4 line on Feb. 22. He finished with 41 points in 24 Premier games and also played in 16 NCDC games with the Utah Outliers this season.
Defense: Jacob Ronnqvist, Tampa Bay Juniors
Ronnqvist (‘06/Kvevlax, Finland) put up six assists against Atlanta and completed his first season in North America with a total of 32 points in 40 games.
Goaltender: Nate Galbraith, Tampa Bay Juniors
Galbraith (‘06/Brockville, Ont.) closed the regular season with his first shutout, stopping all 20 shots he faced from Atlanta on Feb. 23. This came nine days after he put up his season-best of 48 saves in an OT loss against Bold City. He finished with a record of 11-4-1-0 with a save percentage of .929 save percentage.
