Pacific Division
Forward: Nils Tunbratt, Fresno Monsters
The Fresno Monsters went 3-0 in their games against the Ventura Vikings this week, and Tunbratt (‘05/Göteborg, Sweden) was a key player to help the team make that achievement. He posted four goals and eight assists for a big 12 points over three games. Tunbratt has played 18 games in his first Premier season, and has 11 goals and 20 assists in his career, including one game winning goal.
Defense: Jesse Nuutinen, Fresno Monsters
Nuutinen (‘06/Finland) was another major addition to the Fresno Monsters’ roster this week, posting one goal and five assists for six points over the team’s three games. Nuutinen has played 18 games with the Monsters, and has two goals and 24 assists in his first Premier season.
Goaltender: Jacob Brumm, Henderson Force
Brumm (‘07) made his USPHL Premier debut with the Henderson Force on Nov. 23, making 41 saves on 43 shots to help the team win against the Lake Tahoe Lakers. He conceded only two goals for a .953 save percentage.
Northwest Division
Forward: Wilhelm Rosdahl Folkesson, Seattle Totems
Rosdahl Folkesson (‘05/Lidingo, Sweden) scored one goal and had five assists to help the Seattle Totems win their two games against the Bellingham Blazers this week. In his first Premier season, he has 34 points across 13 games, with 16 goals and 18 assists.
Defense: Konstantin Los, Rogue Valley Royals
Los (‘04/Moscow, Russia) scored five goals and had two assists over three games for the Rogue Valley Royals. In their third matchup against the Bremerton Sockeyes on Nov. 24, Los scored three power play goals, including the game winning goal to help the team go 3-0 over the weekend. Los is playing in his second Premier season. He has played 49 career games and has 49 career points with 24 goals and 25 assists. He currently leads the league in goals by any defenseman.
Goaltender: Cole Fennema, Seattle Totems
Fennema (‘04/Colleyville, Tex.) helped the Seattle Totems defeat the Bellingham Blazers in a 32-save shutout on Nov. 23, becoming the league leader in shutouts with five for the season. He also had 50 saves on 52 shots in the Totem’s win on Nov. 22 for a .962 save percentage over the two-game series. Fennema is 7-1-0-0 in his first Premier season.
Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
